Chapter 2
Who did he think he was? He thought he could just get away with using me to break up with someone a sixth time. Then he went and kissed me again like nothing happened. Any other time I would have let him get away with it, but never again. The new Callie was a slut no more and Aiden’s kind would not affect me because I’m above the influence.
The first few classes in the morning went by quickly. There were no unexpected events. The few times I saw Aiden in the hallway, we only glanced at each other and then went about our business. If we did come into contact, we probably wouldn’t have been talking anyway, but he didn't know that and it was better this way for me. I wouldn’t be tempted to do other things if we stayed apart.
When lunch time arrived, I headed to the cafeteria. As I walked down the hallway, I noticed some of the girls glaring at me. There must be another rumor going around about me now because of that girl and her friends this morning. One bold girl even stuck out her foot to trip me up and me being clumsy old me didn’t notice until too late. My face was headed for the floor and I squeezed my eyes shut bracing myself for impact when it didn’t come. I opened my eyes to find someone had their arms wrapped around my waist and was pulling me up.
When I was on my feet, I turned around and looked at my savior. It was Scott who I hadn’t seen all day. Scott was tall, had dark curly hair, tan skin and the sweetest brown eyes. He was on the soccer team so he was slender, but he also had those delicious washboard abs that made you just want to run your hands all over them. We weren't friends, but we talked every once in a while.
“Hey Scott.” I smiled at him.
“’Sup Callie.” He looked closely at me and tilted his head to the side. “You look a little different today.” His face was closer than I expected and my eyes instinctively traveled down to his soft lips which curled up into a smirk as I stared at them. I looked back up to his brown eyes which displayed his obvious amusement. Did I mention we had sex before?
“Yeah. I’m not wearing makeup.” I said, backing away slightly.
“Why?”
“I just don’t want to attract too much attention.”
“Why?”
“I’m trying to stop being a slut.”
He raised an eyebrow. “Why?” It seemed my answer to his last 'why' caught his interest.
“I just don’t want to be one anymore.”
I thought he was going to ask why again, but he didn’t. He just stared at me. “You still look hot ya know.” He said. “It doesn’t really change much.”
I rolled my eyes at him. “Thanks. But if I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were after something else.”
“Maybe I am.” He said leaning closer again.
“Aww, well I’m sorry, but not this time.”
“Just one kiss.” He pouted.
He looked so cute when he did that pout of his. I bit my lip. It got to me every time and he knew he was winning. A kiss was okay right? It’s just a kiss and it’s not like I’m going to go off and have sex with him somewhere. It’s just a kiss. Plus he just saved me so he deserves one right? “Fine. But just one quick kiss okay.”
