Lillian wasn't quite sure what she expected but she thought that maybe if she stayed real still, that she could just shrink into the concrete and disappear.
Eventually Rick, Daryl, and T-Dog all came back with Lillian's dad, who they all learned to be as Caden, following closely behind the group.
"Get your shit." Lillian's dad hollered to her. Lillian was quick to jump up and make her way back into the cell unit.
Saying that she was nervous was an understatement as she nearly tripped running up the stairs.
"Lillian, what's wrong?" She heard from behind her, it was probably Lori but she couldn't tell. Lillian made it to her cell and quickly shoving her stuff into her bag.
"Lilli! Did you hear? Carl and I took down two walkers while we went to the infirmary to save Hershel!" Colton and Carl suddenly appeared in her door way.
Lillian threw her backpack onto her shoulders as she made her way to the door. "Move."
"Where are you going?" Carl asked her, a confused expression on his face.
"My daddy is here." Lillian told them, pushing through the door way. She quickly walked back over to the steps where both Rick and Daryl were waiting for her.
"What?" Colton called out from behind her.
"Hey." Rick grabbed Lillian arm as she attempted to walk past him. He could tell that she was nervous as her eyes darted around, Daryl could too. "You don't gotta go if you don't wanna." Rick kneeled down in front of her.
Lillian's looked at Rick for a second, then back at Daryl who was standing, his crossbow sling on his back as he held the strap. She contemplated, she really did think that maybe she could just stay. But it was her daddy. It was the person who she said she missed and he was here, wanting her to go with him.
"I'm gonna go with him." Lillian mumbled, she watched as Rick was immediately disappointed by her decision but nodded his head. He used his arm that rested on hers to pull her to him, hugging her.
"You ever need something, you know where to find us." Rick told her before he let her go.
Lillian was ready to just leave after that. She felt like maybe if she didn't look at Daryl or Colton or Carol, it would make it so much easier. She knew she would regret it in the long run so she turned and gave Daryl a wave.
Daryl on the other hand, looked at her with no emotion. He simply turned away when the girl waved to him. He was hurt, but he wouldn't let anyone see it. She wasn't his kid, even if he treated her like it. It made his heart burn as he turned back around to watch Lillian walk right out of the gate, Colton running after her. Daryl quickly reached out, grabbing a hold of the resistent Colton as he tried to pull away.
Lillian heard Colton. It hurt her, she didn't want to ignore him but he didn't know what was going on and if he did, he would only make it worse.
"C'mon girl." Lillian's dad huffed, he was growing more impatient and Lillian could tell. She started walking faster as she reached the door, which her dad gave her a little shove as she walked out. Lillian stumbled forward but kept walking as her dad walked up behind her.
"Make we wait that on your ass." He scoffed.Lillian only ignored him and kept walking, she wasn't sure where but it seemed to be in the right direction. She walked until she got to the end of the gravel, assuming that they were going to the other cleared out cell block but her dad kept walking.
"Where are we going?" Her voice quiet, quivering slightly.
"Away from here and that psychotic group." He told her. "Keep up."
