It was just another day. Same as the rest.
Travel, scavenge, sleep, repeat.

They had found another house but it turned out to be too much of a risk due to the herd that followed closely behind them. Lillian didn't feel as if they were ever gonna stop moving. The walkers became closer by the day and every house they came upon gave her false hope.

That was until the group rolled up to a prison, apparently Rick and Daryl had a plan.

"Hurry. Hurry!" Rick rushed. Lillian quickly climbed through the hole in the fence that Rick and Daryl held open. They weren't inside the prison but they were inside one of the gates. Lillian looked around at all the walkers in the prison yard and groaned. This was gonna be so much work.

As Glenn finished tying the gate back, they all were on the move. Lillian ran behind Lori as she tried to stay strictly in the middle of the path with walkers on both sides of the gates clawing at the group. She ran through as one of them held open a gate door, leading to what is the entrance of the actual prison yard as well as a watch tower.

"It's perfect. If we can shut that gate, preventing more from filling the yard, we can pick off these walkers." Rick told the group. "We'll take the field by tonight."

Lillian was silently celebrating, somewhere they can sleep without worrying about leaving within the same night. Sounded like candy, if that even was a thing anymore.

"So how do we shut the gate?" Hershel questioned.

"I'll do it. You guys cover me." Glenn suggested.

"No. It's a suicide run." Maggie shot down.

"I'm the fastest."

"No, you, Maggie, Beth, Colton, and Lillian draw as many as you can over there." Rick pointed down the way. "Pop 'em through the fence." Rick continued but Lillian didn't listen to the rest of it, she was ready to be helpful.

She looked over to Daryl who gave her a small nod which she returned and quickly made her way over to the fence that Rick pointed her to. The rest of the group ran up, making a ton of noise so Lillian pitched in.

"Here." Colton shouted to Lillian, nudging her. Lillian looked behind her to see Colton handing her a long metal pipe, while also holding one for himself.

Lillian sent him a nod as she grabbed the pipe. Walkers were already clawing at the gate, pushing against it to try and get in. Lillian was still too short to actually reach a walkers head but luckily the pipe was long so she was able to get them that way.

"Over here! Come here!" Lillian yelled as she rustled the gate. She had a walker send itself into the gate, where she wasn't expecting it. She wasn't going to lie, it spooked her but she quickly shoved the pipe through its eye.

Lillian couldn't help but realize that it was an all men's prison. There wasn't any women. It made her think of her daddy. How he disappeared how he did. She wouldn't be surprised if he ended up in a place like this, considering how mean he was.

Some of these walkers kind of looked like him. Tall, dark colored hair, that was probably it. She was thinking about him too much, she was envisioning it.

"Lillian!" Beth shouted at her. Lillian quickly turned her head to face the girl. "What are you doing? Help!" Lillian watched as Beth continued to nail walkers in the head.

Lillian didn't noticed that she had just been standing there. She continued to yell at the walkers, banging on the fence. They had began to quickly loose interest in the fence group and turned to Rick, who was making his way to a tower. Lillian popped her last one through the gate, that's when Rick had made it to the tower and everyone began using their guns.
