Lillian ended up staying in Daryl's tent that night, she wasn't sure where to go and Daryl didn't really fight the idea, more pushed her in after she had been clinging to him as she cried.
She turned in Merle's sleeping bag, trying to go back to sleep, but ultimately unable to. By the time she actually opened her eyes and looked towards the other side of the tent, Daryl was no where to be found.
She eventually brought herself to sit up out of the tent, her head pounding and her stomach growling from not eating but she chose to ignore it. She quickly changed her clothes, hoping that nobody would decide to walk in the tent before she slipped on her shoes and began in her way.
Lillian watched as Carol hung laundry for a couple of seconds, debating on whether she wanted to help her or not. In reality, she kind of still felt betrayed by Carol's acts of tattling but she still chose to walk over.
"Can I help?" Lillian asked, looking up at Carol.
"Sure!" Carol smiled, gratefully. "Why don't you hold up the clothes so I can pin them up easier?" Lillian did was she was asked and moved the basket, sitting on the table with her legs dangling off. She picked up a piece of clothing and help it up for Carol.
Back at home, Lillian had this really noisy washer and dryer, it was nothing compared to the slowness air drying. She still wished they had working stuff like that because it was a lot of effort and she was sure that when she is older she will have to do it too because that's what all the women are doing. She didn't understand it, she wanted to go out and hunt like Daryl, not sit around and scrub things all day.
Lillian looked up to see Lori walking towards them. "I can't believe i slept in."
"You must have needed it." Carol turned to pick up another shirt that Lillian was holding up for her.
"Little helper?" Lori smiled at the girl, which she responded by nodding.
"Feeling all right?" Carol asked Lori as Lori began to pick up clothes from the pile and slinging them over her shoulder. Lillian frowned slightly, that being her job but she guessed there was enough to share.
"Next time wake me, all right? Especially on laundry day." Lori sighed, continuing to hang the clothes.
"We can manage, right Lilli?" Carol turned and smiled at her while grabbing more clothes. "I had an idea I wanted to run by you."
"What's that?" Lori replied.
"That big kitchen of theirs got me thinking. I wouldn't mind cooking in a real kitchen again. Maybe we all pitch in and cook dinner for Hershel and his family tonight." Carol suggested. "Kind of looking for things to keep my mind occupied."
"After everything they've done for us, seems like the least we could do." Lori agreed.
"You mind extending the invitation?" Carol asked, standing still as she watch Lori take a few steps towards the table.
Lillian had no more clothes to hold up so she just sat and kicked her legs gently. A good cooked meal definitely sounded good, even made her stomach growl, but she was hungry anyways so it probably would've growled at a sighting of a can.
"Would just feel more right coming from you."
"How so?" Lori picked up a pair of boxers and walked back to her string.
"You're Rick's wife. It sort of makes you our unofficial first lady." Carol commented, making Lori pause.
"Morning, guys. Let's get going. We've got a lot of ground to cover." Rick's voice sounded from behind Lillian so she turned. She watched as people began to circle around the hood of a truck. One of those people being Daryl. This was her chance. Maybe she could go out and help them look. She quickly jumped off the table and mumbled a bye to both of the women before walking up next to Daryl
