Chapter 27

Chapter 27: Dead

It was early in the morning when Stefan woke up, he slowly got dressed ready to go downstairs but when he opened the door Klaus stood in the doorway.

"Leaving so soon?" he questioned innocently

"Aurora" Stefan rolled his eyes calling her name, she slowly stirred awake but before she got up and exposed herself Stefan shut the door.

"What's up?" she asked

"Klaus is behind this door so you should get dressed" he said watching her furrow her eyebrows

"Why?"

"I don't know but if I didn't shut this door he would've seen you naked. You can thank me later" he whispered

Aurora sped out of bed and pulled on a dressing gown and walked out the door with crossed arms.

"This is my place Nik, I don't appreciate you invading my privacy like a creeping Tom!" she scolded tightening her belt

Klaus just walked into her room rolling his eyes "Well I apologise for breaking up this sordid little tryst but I have urgent business" he ended with a smile "Or have you forgotten our brother Kol is running around with a white oak stake and homicide on the brain?" he added

"He tried to kill Bex last night. I didn't forget" she spoke narrowing her eyes

"Yes well unfortunately he has absconded with my set of daggers"

"Poor Nik, how will you ever get your way without your precious daggers. They were so handy when you wanted to end your conversation with the others" Aurora mocked

"Kol's irrational fear of Silas has pushed him over the edge, I know you're not going to like this but we need to put him down before he does any more damage" he said

"No! he has every right to be paranoid and anyways I don't have the dagger so look somewhere else" she stubbornly said

"Aurora, we need that dagger, tell me who has it" he said

"We? you mean you. And I don't know also even if I did I wouldn't tell you"

Klaus sighed smiling then turned to Stefan who was leaning on the door frame "Talk some sense into her please, I think this town has striped her brain cells"

"I think she doesn't need that. You do" Stefan smiled

"What happened to our friendship, you should be on my side"

"Not when it comes to her" he said smugly

It was already night and Aurora was having a hard time choosing her outfit for the 80's dance. Before that she had called Rebekah and told her about Klaus coming to her asking about the last dagger warning her to hide it well.

At the moment she was with Stefan and he had already picked an outfit and enjoyed her little tantrums from time to time. Finally she chose an outfit, it was navy blue and she wore it with a wide black belt, she curled her hair and wore big hoop earrings and simple black heels.

Once she finished getting dressed Stefan brought up unfortunate news- the dance was cancelled.

Aurora was upset but Stefan decided to still take her so they could have the dance all to themselves and it would be a nice break for them.

Once inside the gymnasium she looked at it impressed, it was filled with red balloons and other 80's related decorations. Stefan ran up to the DJ booth and took out his phone. "Any requests for the DJ?"
