Chapter 38

Chapter 38: Stefan!

When making her coffee the doorbell rang, giving Klaus one last look she headed for the door.

When she opened it she almost screamed, standing in the doorway was Stefan. Stefan Salvatore, the man she had been looking for for the past three months.

"Hey" Stefan greeted

Aurora stood there utterly perplexed, after being missing for three whole months he pops up out of nowhere and says 'hey'.

"Stefan?" she asked

"The one and only" he smiled

Aurora raised her hand and slapped him so hard that he slightly tumbled, how is he so casual about this?

Holding his deep red cheek in pain he looked up at her with slight anger "What was that for!?"

"You've been gone for three months and you just appear like I'm going to forget about it!"

Klaus had come walking in hearing the commotion "What's going- Stefan?"

"Why did you leave, where were you all this time?!" she questioned

"Woah, slow down, you're kind of annoying me" he said stepping into the house

She looked at him in disbelief and rage filled her body, she sped towards him and pinned him against a wall "Are you fucking with me right now!"

"No, but maybe we should" he smirked

She let go of him immediately and punched him in the face, who is this? this is not the Stefan she knew and loved three months ago.

Then it hit her, Stefan disappeared and came back completely different, like he was someone else. "Silas" she sneered

"Took you longer than last time" he grinned

Aurora was full of so much shock and anger to realise that this was not Stefan but Silas.

"Where's Stefan?" Klaus asked, finally speaking

"Where I'm supposed to be" Silas shrugged

"Where is that?" he asked again

"I'm not telling you and I don't care, I came here to play with you but right now I'm on a hunt for Katherine Pierce- " Silas was interrupted by Aurora

"The quarry!" she then sped out the house

She called Sheriff Forbes and asked her to get someone to search the quarry. She agreed and Aurora watched as people searched for it and while doing so called Katherine.

"Hey Kath, tell me why Silas is looking for you?"

"Because I may or may not have the cure" she sheepishly said

"What! Katherine, why do you have it?"

"I stole it from Shane so I could kill Silas but I kind of underestimated his strength" she answered

"Well be safe, please"

"I will, love you"

"love you" she hanged up and Liz came up to her "We found a safe, we're going to bring it up"

Hope filled her eyes and she thanked Liz whilst she patiently waited for the safe to be lifted.

Finally after a few minutes (more like half an hour) the safe was lifted to land and the sky was already dark. Aurora ran excitedly and twisted the handle and threw it open to reveal a grey Stefan.
