The next day rolls around and I'm constantly having to increase the volume of my headphones to block out the sound of the boys talking about their film project in the library.

"No no, I think if we filmed the last part somewhere else it would tie in the ending", I hear Han say across the table. He's banging his fists on the table, clanging his new chain bracelets he's been trying to flex this week.

"We literally don't have time for that, it's due next week already", Minho rolls his eyes, "Let's just keep it as it is."

"This is literal dogshit, you think this will bump us up to an A?" Felix huffs.

"You just said we have the whole weekend, that's plenty of time! Come on, what plans do you have this weekend?" Han goes.

Lix and Minho look at each other and Lix looks over at me, probably because he had told me we were gonna celebrate our calc test being over by pigging out on Wingstop and watching the finale of our show.

"Okay, but we literally live in buttfuck nowhere. There's no place to shoot" Minho argues.

"Oooorrrr, what if we take a trip?" Han leans in, raising an eyebrow.

Felix side eyes him, "Where were you thinking?"

"Oh I don't know, I was just thinking this would be a good excuse to go somewhere fun for the weekend. We can all pitch in and squish in an Airbnb. Where do you guys wanna go?"

"The beach!" Lix jumps in his seat, "Please, please, please, please"

"Lowkey, that's perfect for our ending scene," Minho puts a finger to his lips thinking.

"We can invite the others too! I'm sure Chan will let us borrow his car, since Minho's won't fit all of us" Han suggests

"Hey, I never said I'd drive"

"Yeah, but you will," Han smirks.

"You're right"

I felt a tap on my shoulder and slid my headphones off of one ear and turned to look at them, "Hey Ella," Lix smiled, "You down for the beach this weekend?"

A smile creeps onto my face.

"Yeah, but only if she gets an 80 or higher on her calc test," Hanji teases from across the table.

"Pshhh, easy" I roll my eyes and get back to work.

"So what'd you think?" Felix says to me as he pulls the other strap of his blue backpack onto his shoulder as we walk out of the dreaded calculus exam.

"Thank GOD we reviewed last night, is all I have to say. I really didn't expect that last one" I say, taking a deep sigh of relief.

Felix walks in front of me and turns to face me, walking backwards, "Soooooo now that that's over with, you ready for this weekend?"

A smile washes my face, "So ready, Minho's picking us up at 5, right?"

"Mhm," he nods, "He's gonna come get us after he picks Han up"

I roll my eyes, "The princess. He's gonna take the passenger seat."

Felix nods, still walking backwards and facing me, "And Minho isn't gonna boot him because he's his favori-AHT"

"HAHAHA!" I laugh and point at his sprawled out body on the dirty floor of the high school hallway. He just laid there, closing his eyes and groaning.

People walked by, just stepping over his limbs and giving us weird looks, "Okay," I blinked, standing over his body waiting for him to get up, "Okay, let's go," I kicked his leg.

He covered his face and rolled onto his side, revealing an embarrassing amount of dirt and dust clinging onto the back of his white uniform dress shirt. He kicked me back hard.

"Ow! Stooppp," I clutched my shin.

"That's what you get for telling me to hurry," he sat up, extending two arms out to me, "Up"

I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hands, "You're literally five," I say, yanking his body back up.

"And you're too slow," he gives me a fake smile, tilting his head.

"What?"

Before I could register what he said, he took off running in front of me, out the doors, and onto the football field towards the school exit. I took off running after him, taking me as fast as my feet would run.

"Bleh," He turned back and stuck his tongue out at me, and I shoved a middle finger in his face.

"HEY!" I hear a male's voice yell from the parking lot.

Felix abruptly stops running, causing me to bump into him and readjust my balance on my feet. I pant, resting my hands on my knees, catching my breath and looking up at Minho's car pulled up on the curb near the field, Jisung in the passenger seat.

"5pm, or I leave you two!" he yells. I see Seungmin and Jeongin pop their heads out of the sunroof of his sedan, Seungmin giving us thumbs down as Minho accelerates into the street.

"Man, why didn't he give us a ride home?" I look to my side at Lix, still catching my breath.

He looks up thinking, "He probably didn't want you to get squished in the backseat."

"We literally do that all the time, all 7 of us in his 5 seater"

"Yeah, but he didn't want to risk, you know.." he tilts his head to the side, implying something.

I stood up, confused as hell, "What?"

"You know," he looks at me like I should be getting what he's saying.

" I knoooowwww....."

"Youuurrr problem?" He squints one eye.

I throw my head back, "Right" oh shit no duh, "Right, right. No, that was sweet of him actually."

Lix looks down and nods.

I look up at him, the guilt settling back in. It must be on his mind. I mean, I couldn't even think of a reason Minho would leave us out, other than being a pain in the ass just to mess with us. I don't want him to constantly be thinking about it, and I definitely don't want to be a burden. I mean, is it too late to come clean? Just play it off as a joke? That's not funny at all, I've made Lix worry to the point of going to Chan. But what if I just apologize and confess it was a joke I took too far, nothing more? But instead, I don't.

"Nicer than you kicking me," I smile and lightly push his shoulder.

"Okaay, whatever, let's get going."
