TRIGGER WARNING FOR THIS CHAPTER
*~~~*
The worst feeling in the world is knowing you did the best you could and it still wasn't enough.

"Please, let me go— I think we should both go get some rest," Auburn pleaded, still trying to pull away from his hold, but failed.

Panic started to spread through her like wildfire.

His nails were digging into her skin around her wrist, making her wince as her heartbeat raced.

"I think you should stop talking," he growled, looking over his shoulder at her.

He looked at her as though she were bait and he was a great white. He pulled her by her wrist deeper into the forest, his feet walking faster than she could keep up.

She was stumbling over her own footsteps, tripping as she got dragged. She didn't want to have to use the knife to hurt him, she really didn't.

His grip was so tight around her wrist, she was sure there would be marks of his hand around them.

She ignored the thud in her heart. " Brandon, let's go back to the house— it's not safe," Auburn tried again, her voice now peaking with desperation to get away from him.

  No response.

He was dragging her deeper into the forest and she couldn't even see the town anymore.

The next thing she felt was her spine colliding with a big tree trunk, the wind getting knocked out of her lungs as her knife fell from her hand.
Her wrists were in Brandon's hold, pinned above her head as his body pressed on hers. " Brandon, please— let's just go back to the house," Auburn begged, tears threatening to fall from her eyes as her veins ran like ice.

Her heart was hammering in her chest, she could feel her pulse vibrate throughout her entire body.

His lips abruptly smashed into hers.

That was her breaking point.

The sob ripped from her throat as his lips forcefully kissed hers.

" Br— ple- sto-p—" her voice was interrupted by his lips smearing against hers. His teeth gritted against the front of hers, making her want to throw up.

She tried using her legs to knee him, but his body was too aggressively pressed on hers.

Tears streamed down her cheeks, dripping to where he connected their lips.

Her head was being pushed into the tree trunk, bark being pressed against her scalp.

Through her tears and ignoring her panic and fear, Auburn summoned all her strength to aggressively bang her head into his.

His teeth aggressively sunk into her bottom lip, making her hiss as she felt blood pool.

Brandon grunted, stumbling back, but his expression flickered darkly. "You fucking bitch!" he scowled, his lip twitching in anger.

His fist collided with her jaw, making her fall to the ground as she choked on her sob.

Through her blurry vision, she tried patting the ground and scanning to look for her knife to use to defend herself.

The back of her head collided with the ground, her back to the ground as Brandon's body pressed on top of her.

Flashbacks of what her uncle did to her flickered through her mind, her body scoring with nothing but fear and trauma.

"Stop- stop— please- I-" she was cut short by a large hand forcefully pressing onto her mouth.

Tears poured down her temples, her heart was thudding painfully in her rib cage as her entire body trembled.

She was trapped, stuck.

Her body was overpowered with him on top, his hand over her mouth, so she couldn't scream.
Every time she tried to cry out and scream for anyone- her voice was muffled.

She was stuck.

Every molecule in her body roared for help.
Crying and panicking, but no one could hear her.

Auburn felt Brandon's free hand snake to the fly of her jeans, unzipping her and unbuttoning her pants.

"STOP! PLEASE! NO- NO! PLEASE!" she cried out, but her voice was still unheard even by the stars twinkling above.

"Stop screaming. No one can hear you," Brandin seethed, his eyes swirling with nothing but
anger and desire.

Her chest was heaving and her throat felt like it was closing as she struggled to catch air. Her mouth was blocked and she was unable to breathe in and out from her nose. She was spluttering in his hand, she couldn't breathe.
She couldn't.

Her airway was closed, her nose struggling to inhale and exhale as her blood ran cold. Her whole body flooded with panic, she felt like she only had seconds before she was going to pass out.

Her lungs deflated like old balloons as her eyes fluttered open and closed. Her mind was becoming fuzzy, her vision never becoming clear as salty liquids pooled in her eyes. She felt him unzip his own pants, but she still couldn't move.
It was like she was frozen.

  Paralyzed.

Her body continued to scream, but she couldn't move as Brandon's lips roamed her neck and collarbone.

She felt like a doll- like a toy. No control over anything and not able to move on her own.
It was the growl of the undead that ripped her out of her state of shock.

Through her blurry tears and the dark, she saw three heads coming from the corner of her eyes.
Walkers.

She tried to speak, but she couldn't.

The dragging steps of the walkers got closer, louder.

Ignoring the painful thud in her chest, she tried patting around the ground for anything to use to help her to get the brunette off of her.

The tears never stopped streaming down her temples, her head started to spin as her body scored with internal pain and physical pain.
Her jaw was searing with pain from the punch she took from the vile boy on top of her.

She heard a gunshot.

Another.
