Papunta na sa Batangas ang mga magfoformer teammates. Alyssa's van is leading the convoy, followed by Maddie's car.
Bea also brought her car because she just followed along, with Deanna accompanying her. They were quiet until Deanna broke the silence.
"Ate Bei," Deanna said.
"Yes, Deans?" Bea replied.
"Ahm, Why weren't you at the meetup place earlier, , tapos pinaiwan mo pa ko?" Sabi ni Deanna
"My friend from the US arrived, so I really took a half-day earlier because I had to bring her to Bulacan. I thought I would make it on time because it was still early, but I got stuck in traffic. That's why I called you to wait for me," Bea explained.
"Wow, your friend must be really special, Ate Bei, huh?" Deanna remarked.
Bea was about to respond, but then Deanna's phone received a message. Deanna checked who it was from, and it was Ponggay. Deanna read Ponggay's message out loud.
"Deans, where are you and Ate Bea? We're already here. Tell her she's annoying; she hasn't shown up since she got home, and now she's late."
Bea laughed and spoke up, "I really missed Pong's mischief." After that, they continued their road trip, enjoying some music until they reached the private resort they rented.
Bea was exhausted from driving from BGC to Bulacan, then Bulacan to Makati to see Deanna, and finally Makati to Batangas.
Bea's POV
After 6 hours of driving, damn, we're finally here. We quickly got out to grab our stuff, but my shoulder was hurting.
"Deans, can you help me with my stuff? My shoulder's a bit sore, hehe," I asked Deanna.
"Sure, Ate Bei," Deanna replied, smiling at me.
We walked inside, and Ate Ella immediately approached us.
"Guys nandito na sila Deanna", Ate Ella shouted.
Kaya nagsisunudan yung mga teammates namin.I saw Maddie with her arm around Jho, so I avoided eye contact. Ponggay and I glanced at each other, and I remembered her message to Deanna. I was about to speak, but Ate Ly beat me to it.
"Hoy, De Leon. Welcome back. Where did you come from, and why were you and Deanna late? And why Deanna carrying your stuff?" Ate Ly asked, everyone's eyes on me except Deanna's
"May hii-Nakalimutan ako sa sasakyan ate Ly sandali" Deanna quickly said.
"Oh, i just had something to attend to, Ate Ly. Deanna insisted, so I didn't refuse," I explained, smiling at Deanna, who grinned sheepishly.
"Ayun naman pala mga besh may inasikaso lang," sabi ni ate Ly, tumango naman sila
"akala ko kung saan pa kayo nagpunta, malilitikan ka talaga samin" ate ella said.
Kaya nagtawanan mga teammates namin, nakita ko ulit si Jho nakatingin lang nagtama mata namin pero agad niya iniwas
"Deans, ito yung susi," At binigay ko kay deanna. "akina yung mga gamit natin, diba may nakalimutan ka," sabi ko kay Deanna habang nakatingin mga teammates namin.
"Ah oo, pongs pasama sandali" Deanna said to Ponggay, who followed her.
"Oh siya sumunod nalang kayo Deanna" ate ly said to deanna and ponggay.
Nagnod naman si deanna at ponggay
"tara na guys pumasok na tayo para makapagpahinga na din bukas ay maaga tayo, madaming activities ang naka handa" sabi ni ate Den, naglakad kami papasok, nagsi balik sa mga ginagawa nila yung teammates naman at nagsalita ulit si ate Den
