Bea's POV

The weekend passed by quickly, with me mainly sorting out the clothes I bought when I met Deanna. I spent some quality time with my family, but it didn't last long due to my jetlag.

Now, I'm heading to the office with my BMW M3, a gift from Dad. As I drive, my phone suddenly rings, and it's Jema calling.

"Hello, Bei!" she says cheerfully.

"Hi, Jems!" I respond with a smile.

"Oh, sorry, you're driving pala. I just called to remind you to pick up Jana from the airport. Her flight is scheduled to land around 2:30 PM," she informs me.

"Sure, sure, I haven't forgotten. I actually told Dad last week that I'll be taking a half-day today to pick up Jana," I assure her.

"Okay, okay, Bei. Haha, I'll be the next one to go back there then. Anyway, drive safely. Bye," she says.

"Wag na haha jan ka nalang." I tease her, and she responds with a playful pout.

"Ikaw pagnakauwi na ko lagot ka sakin tamo tse jan kana nga bye" she said inirapan pa ko

"Hahaha pikon mo talaga, Jems. Haha bye take care," I said and she ended the call.

After 25 minutes, I arrive at the office parking lot. The Audi A4 parked beside my spot last Friday is here again. I wonder who the owner is; they seem to have good taste.

I got out of my car, I head to the elevator. I'm supposed to focus on finance since I studied AB Management Economics. However, Dad asked me to approve designs for the company as well. I didn't refuse.

My office is on the 15th floor, so I've only just stepped out of the elevator. Yung mga nakakasalubong ko na employee binabati nila ako kaya i just smile with them. I guess they all know me. pumasok ako sa loob ng office ko, I take a seat in my swivel chair.

Checking through the files, I sign the necessary documents. I'm just waiting for time to leave when someone knocks on my door.

tumayo ako para tignan kung sino and its Dad.

"Hi, Princess," he greets me with a kiss on the cheek.

"Hello, Dad. Do you need anything?" I said.

"No, nothing. Buti nalang naabutan kita. By the way, this is your secretary, Mika Reyes. Since you'll be handling design approvals and finance, I thought you'd need assistance. I believe you two already know each other, so I'll leave you to it," he explains before exiting.

"Okay, Dad," I respond, scratching my head. I then look at Ate Mika. Dad leaves, and I'm left feeling awkward.

"Hi," Ate Mika says, breaking the silence.

"Uhm, hello, Ate Mika. Just call me Bei. Or Bea, whichever you prefer. No need to be formal," I say, feeling a bit shy.

"Hahaha, you're still the same, Bea!" she chuckles. "You look nervous; are you alright? You're my boss, after all," she adds.

"Are you kidding, Ate Mika? Haha, you know," I reply, chuckling nervously. "By the way, I'm on half-day today, so you can go home early," I inform her.

"Yeah, I know. Tito Elmer informed me about that. So, Bea, I'll head out first. It's nice to see you again, BEAst My BEAstBoss," she says, laughing as she leaves my office.

Checking the time on my watch, it's 12:40 PM. I tidy up the papers on my desk and leave the office. The elevator door is just closing, so I miss it, but something about it seems familiar. I shrug it off and focus on my ringing phone instead.
