Bea's POV

"Don't ask too many questions, Isabel, just come home now!" Dad's voice sounded very serious, causing me to jolt awake suddenly from bed.

"But, Dad..." He cut me off again.

"No 'buts,' Isabel. Come home," Dad said, ending the call without any farewell.

Jema was looking at me, clearly wondering why Dad had called.

"Dad wants me to come home now," I started to say, but I stopped her before she could respond. "Shh, I don't know why. Can you help me pack my things right now, and also let them know that I need to leave?" I said, gesturing to our other friends who were still sound asleep.

After 15 minutes of packing and getting ready, I left the hotel. I didn't ask Jema to accompany me, as I didn't want to wake the others.

As I walked to my car, I realized I was hungry. Maybe I'll just hit the drive-thru later. I got into my car, started it, and drove off immediately.

I was about to head to the drive-thru when my phone rang again, and it was Mom. What's going on? Why are they calling now? I answered Mom's call.

"Hello, Isabel, where are you?" Mom asked.

"I'm on my way home, Mom. Why? What's wrong? Dad sounded really angry earlier," I said.

"Just come home, Isabel. We'll talk here. Drive safely," Mom said.

I sighed. "Okay, Mom," I said, and she hung up.

I decided to skip the drive-thru and just head straight home. I had no idea what was happening. They're not usually like this when I'm with my friends... Ugh, I can't stop thinking about it...

After two hours, I pulled up in front of our house. I didn't park my car in the driveway because another car was blocking it, and I figured there must be visitors inside since it wasn't ours. I got out of my car and went into the house. Maybe the driver will move my car later.

As soon as I entered the house, I started looking for Mom.

"Mom, Dad, I'm here," I said, looking around for them, but I saw Manang instead.

"Manang, where are Mom and Dad?" I asked.

"Nandon sila Bea sa garder, kanina ka pa nila inaantay mabuting pumunta kana doon" manang said and I nodded

"Thanks, Manang," I said and walked towards the garden. I immediately spotted them with someone else, so I approached them.

"Hey, Mom, Dad," I greeted them, then noticed Tito John. "Oh, hi, Tito John, you're here," I added, giving him a nod.

"Isabel, please have a seat," Dad said seriously.

I sat down. "Dad, is there any problem?" I asked, and Dad glanced at Tito John.

"I want you to marry my daughter, Jhoana, as soon as possible," Tito John said without hesitation, enveloping the air with silence for a moment.

"Hm, Tito, I don't think I can. As much as I want to marry your daughter, I don't know if you're aware, but Maddie and Jhoana have been together for almost two years. I love your daughter, Tito, you know that. But I respect her choice to love someone, and that someone isn't me," I said, noticing Tito clenching his fist while Mom and Dad listened.

"I've always liked you for my daughter, but how dare you say you respect her pagkatapos mo siyang buntisin? Is that how you respect her?!" Tito John said

Fuck. I didn't know what to say, what to feel. I couldn't deny that the child was mine, as I knew I was the one who took her virginity. I was happy to have a child with the person I loved the most, but I didn't know what would happen after this. I glanced at Mom and Dad, and they nodded at me.
