"Oh, will you just admit it already, Felix! If you're scared, you have nothing to be scared about. I get that you don't want a repeat of last time, but you and I both know that the fucker doesn't deserve to keep you from love! He's long gone, lix, he lead you on and played with your feelings but he's gone. You always complain that you can't find anyone your 'type', and when you do, you ignore your feelings! Look at it from an outside perspective, do you really think Hyunjin would lead you on? If he was that type of guy, he's either really good at acting, or we're blind." Jeongin spoke with his voice raised, standing and the bottom of Felixs bed.

"Listen, it's not your fault if you think he could lead to on, it's the asshat that did it to you in the first place, but I can assure you that Hyunjin is not him. Just please, for the love of God, admit that you like him."

"Alright, alright! Fine! Maybe just a little. It's just a little tiny crush, it'll pass! A small increase in my heartbeat doesn't mean anything more than that, it was barely noticeable." Felix spoke, wrapping his arms tighter around the pillow he was holding. The moment he came back to his room, he started to tell Jeongin everything, minus the camera. Everything from the conversations they had, him giving Hyunjin the rose and setting up the beach, to the hotel shop and the place they sat, leaving no detail it was okay to tell behind.

He hadn't changed yet, getting too caught up in explaining his night to Jeongin, meaning he was still in Hyunjins sweater. The sleeves were balled in his palms as they talked, going back and forth between admitting and creating a lame excuse.

"Lix.." Jeongin whispered, walking over to sit next to him on the bed. "It doesn't have to pass, you know. A crush is a crush, you can't exactly control when you like someone or how much you like them, but you don't have to act on it either. I, personally, think you should, when you feel ready ask him out, but it's up to you." He spoke, the calming voice leaving his lips being a stark contrast from the one he spoke in 30 seconds ago.

Felix nodded, a frown replacing his usual smile as he rested his chin on the pillow. "I know I should, but it just feels wrong to have a tiny crush on him when I haven't known him for long, I'm afraid I'll get attached too quickly and screw everything up! If I did feel ready to do something about it I'd wait until we were at least good friends, but then I'd be scared I'd ruin our friendship and back out!" He complained as he buried his face further into the soft cushion, overwhelmed by so many things and unnatural feelings.

"Lixie, do you believe in love at first sight?" Jeongin asked, moving around to sit infront of the boy to lift his head from the pillow.

He nodded, too defeated to use his voice to answer such question. He was too out of it to connect what Jeongin meant by that, and evidence of that was visible on his face, allowing Jeongin to continue.

"So what's so different about this? You believe you can see someone for the first time and be so in love with them, but you don't believe you can see them a few times, learn about them, talk to them, and start to develop a crush? You never know, lix, it could stay as a crush or one day you could be head over heels for him, but either way this sort of thing has no time limit. Hell, the moment I saw chan I knew I would be staring heart eyes at him for the rest of my life!"

A smile cracked on his face at his ending statement, remembering the hours he'd have to listen to Jeongin spill every last feeling he had out over call. "I guess so, yeah. I'll just let it be for a while, see what happens then. Can we sleep now, please? I'm getting really tired."

Jeongin nodded, sliding off Felixs mattress to climb into his own, already dressed in sleeping attire. He turned his bedside lamp off, leaving just Felixs to illuminate the dark room. "Goodnight, lix, sleep tight." He whispered as he wrapped himself in the thick duvet, disappearing behind the pile of cushions and blankets he liked to keep on his bed.
