A Crazy Little Thing Called Imagination // Hyunlix

The previous night was rather chaotic, but when the night came to an end it was as if the house was deserted.

Hyunjin had retreated to his room earlier than the other two, who had gone to bed at about 1 in the morning.

Now 4 hours later, Felix and Yeji are still asleep, but Hyunjin is wide awake, as normal.

He had said yesterday that he'd actually go to school properly today, so now he has to. Luckily, Yeji had some of the clothes he could wear in the guest room.

Though school doesn't start till around 9ish and he'd be leaving with the others, meaning he couldn't leave early, he decided to get dressed a few hours beforehand just incase.

He chose his 'normal' outfit, or as close to it as possible, which looked as if you took it right out of a classic teen romcom. This outfit consisted of a red and white basketball jacket, blue jeans, and a white t-shirt with the addition of a few necklaces and rings.

He got dressed, and quickly brushed his hair before tying it back into a short ponytail so it would be somewhat hidden from others if he just put his hood up.

The last thing he had to do was throw on some makeup to cover up the usual, and he did that in record time, chucking the back up foundation in his bag shortly after.

He grabbed his phone and his backpack, and left his temporary room, walking down to the kitchen for something to drink.

One glass of water later, he was sat at the kitchen counter on his phone waiting for the others to leave.

And after another 3 or so hours, A tired Yeji and exhausted Felix, came walking down the stairs.

"Look who's already up" Yeji spoke, walking into the kitchen and grabbing two glasses of water from the cabinet, filling them up and placing them on the counter.

"I've been waiting for you for ages" Hyunjin said, not taking his eyes from his phone.

"How long have you been up?" Felix asked, sitting down at the kitchen island and taking one of the glasses.

Hyunjin thought about answering honestly for a minute, before realising there was no point in hiding it.

"I didn't sleep"

With that, Yeji spat her water back into the sink, a look of disbelief on her face, while Felix just nodded his head in understanding, backing out of the conversation.

"How the- Hyunjin, what the fuck man! You need sleep!" Yeji spoke, raising her voice the slightest bit with hints of worry and maybe even disappointment laced somewhere into her tone.

"Look- I'm sorry, okay? I was just nervous for going back to school. You know I can't sleep when I'm nervous." Hyunjin responded, locking his phone and placing it face down on the counter beside him.

"Listen, I get you're nervous and all but you still should've at least tried to sleep- I know what your like, hyunjin, you get barely enough sleep anyway, it worries me"

"I know I know I do try but I just can't sleep- for now can we just please drop the conversation and get ready for leaving" He spoke, standing up from his chair and balling his hands into fists, holding them up to his head for a second or two before bringing them down again.
