After leaving the classroom she ran to her locker. She continued out the back door of the school, past the playground with all of the school equipment, along the Hopscotch mural in the courtyard then around the red brick building which was her school.

Sarah always enjoyed that walk past all the big trees and nice houses to 26 Elizabeth Street Kent, Connecticut. But this time it was different. She had a very uneasy feeling about today. She notices the There was a tall man following her. She had an odd sense of familiarity; it was almost like Sarah had met him before or as if they had a sort of connection when she looked at him. She glanced behind her and then she had to look back again. His eyes were that's when Sarah noticed that both of their eyes were the same a hazel like color with flex of gold in them, the same as her own. With a sensation that reminded Sarah of a dam breaking, Sarah remembered the stories that her mom had told her about her dad and how similar they looked. Sarah froze in her tracks. At that point, Sarah was in her front yard basically under the tree when the tall man walked up behind her.

The man then said the four words that changed Sarah's life as she knew it for the rest of time. "I am your father." The words held a sort of weight to them, and Sarah knew that he spoke the truth. "I needed to tell you this because you're in danger and must leave your home now. Go upstairs and pack your bags," he continued.

"I-I don't have any bags." Sarah stuttered, "And I don't even know who you are," she continued in a smaller voice.

"My name is Hades," he paused, "and now you have bags."

Sarah fled upstairs and started to shove almost everything she had in the suitcase and bag that had miraculously appeared on her bed. When she was done barely anything was left in her room. She started to drag both bags downstairs, but she almost toppled over because of how surprisingly light they were. Sarah overheard little bits and pieces of the conversation between her mom and dad and froze halfway down the stairs. Though she could only make out some words like school and demigod.

Her mom started up the stairs. And met Sarah in the middle. There were some hurried goodbyes, hugs, and kisses and it all turned into one big blur. Before Sarah knew it, she was outside with her parents. Hugs and kisses were exchanged. Then she left.
