Sarah woke up screaming. She had a nightmare but the memory of it was slipping through her fingers and by the time she glanced at the clock she could no longer remember it at all. The time was 5:45. She had over an hour till she had to wake up. Because of this, Sarah decided to practice what she could in the time she had.

Sarah had realized the previous day that her room expanded each time she needed or wanted it to, so she decided to practice with her dagger. Sarah went to the gym type room with rows of dummies that lined the walls. There were other very cool weapons that she could practice with like the black sword that Mr. Summer had gifted her. In the room there was a bookshelf with books on Swordsmanship and the like. There was also an empty shelf with a note from her father on it. It said that once she was permitted by her magic instructor to use her powers then this shelf would fill with books on the magic that she was capable of doing.

Sarah was filled with excitement to learn about her powers.

She slashed her blade against the body of the dummy. This one was exciting. It moved!

Sarah's alarm went off blaring a loud beeping sound. With a sigh she left the training room to go turn it off.

Since she had already brushed her teeth, she got dressed. Groaning when she realized she would be forced into an awful dress again. "Oh well," Sarah thought.

She made her way to breakfast at 6:50 and met up with Zoi and Julian several minutes later.

"How did you guys sleep?" Sarah questioned.

"Not great. How about you?" Zoi said as a response.

"Not too good either. I had a nightmare that I can't remember and woke up around 5:45." As she said this, a concerned look flashed across Julians face.

"Oof... That sounds rough," Zoi commented, "You're awfully quiet this morning, Jules. How'd you sleep?"

"Allright." Was Julian's only response. A strange occurrence for the normally bubbly son of Apollo. Even though Sarah had not known him for that long she could tell that he was a very talkative person.

"Are you sure..." Julian didn't even let Zoi finish the thought.

"I have already told you that I'm fine. Now drop it already won't you," Julian snapped. Nobody bothered him after that.

After breakfast, Sarah had Science and then Greek history. It was your average science room but the Greek history room was something special.

It was lined with images of famous people from Greek history as well as ones from mythology. Sarah thought that Greek history would be her favorite class (besides her classes with Mr. Summer) until after lunch when she had Greek. It was in a very similar room but that had nothing to do with the reason she liked it. The real reason was because it came so easily. It was like when she was fighting, it all came so naturally. The Greek language rolled off her tongue as if it were her native language. For all onlookers, she could have been speaking in her mother tongue.

Finally it was her last class of the day, Fighting 101. Sarah was so excited. She had her dagger and was permitted to change into more practical clothing. She was ready to spar. Learning from the class the day prior, Mr. Summer set Sarah up with the most proficient fighter there. He was also a sword fighter. She destroyed him in five minutes. Then they had a tournament and Sarah completely dominated. The first person that she fought was Lexi. Sarah tried to take it easy on her but it didn't work. Her instinct kicked in and she completely dominated the entered competition. After school Sarah and her floor stayed or came to the training floor.

Sarah was training with the dummies because there was a very big skill difference in all of the kids and she thought she was somewhere in the middle. The best fighter on the floor was Zoi and she did not want to mess with her.

Before dinner the last activity they had was stable duty. Cleaning out the pegasi stalls was not fun but it was over before she knew it. Dinner was like the previous night. But, instead of going to the woods after dinner they stayed in the building. Sarah went up to her room and continued to train.

Sarah heard a knock on her door and opened it a crack to see Zoi outside with Julian behind her. His mood was much better than in the morning and he seemed to have really cheered up. She was still curious as to the reason he was in a mood at breakfast though.

Sarah slipped out the door with her dagger in hand ready to go back to the woods. At this point Sarah was wearing a black gown that reached the floor. She could feel the eyes of both Zoi and Julian on her as well as a blush creeping onto her face.

"Soo... We should go to the woods now," Julian sad very awkwardly.

Zoi and Sarah agread and with the rest of the floor headed to the woods. It was much more peaceful than the previous night or it could have been the fact that Sarah was just more used to it.

They found a clearing in the middle of the woods that was bathed in moonlight. Everything looked perfect.

"ROAR!" A huge monster came up from behind one of the bushes in the clearing. It had one eye and its scream brought them to their senses.

"It's a Cyclops!" one of Julian's half siblings shouted as she knocked an arrow.

While the arrow was in mid air Zoi lunged at the beast with her sword. Time seemed to slow around everything except the arrow and Zoi. In fact it seemed to speed up around them. Time went back to normal as with a glint of brawns the arrow and Zoi's sword sliced into the Cyclops and it broke into a pile of yellow-gold dust.

Zoi stumbled and leaned against a tree for support. Julian and Sarah rushed over to help her but she brushed them off. Julian had a considered look on his face but nodded along with what she was saying and didn't bother her.

They all made their way back up to their floor shaken but perfectly fine. The medics had made sure of the fact.

Sarah collapsed on her bed after brushing her teeth, changing and taking a long shower. The time was 9:45 when she passed out. She needed the sleep.

Her dreams that night were less of dreams and more of memories of her past.
