Soft smacking noises filled the room and provided me with mental support as I stared at my computer screen. I didn't know why, but it was incredibly relieving to eat when you had someone to keep you company indirectly and that's why I loved this meokbang stream. Meokbang streams were a type of live broadcast where the streamer ate meals on camera while interacting with the audience. This made it easier for me to take a few bites myself. Small bites, after all. Nevertheless, the smell made me slightly nauseous and after shoveling five half-spoonfuls into me, I put the bowl aside.

I felt like I was eating through these videos anyway, so I gave up my own food and sighed towards the screen. Maybe I should get ready for my own stream, but I just couldn't take my eyes off that pretty face.

Pretty face.

That was the wrong word.

I just shook myself vigorously and leaned back in my comfy chair. My eyes narrowed to slits as I concentrated on the next chick nugget disappearing between those full, pink lips. I was no longer hungry and turned my gaze to the window.

However, the unexpected ringing of my front doorbell made me flinch.

Shit.

It couldn't be Yuna this time, because she had left my apartment three hours ago and hadn't left anything here that I could assume would make her come back. So I tried to be quiet and sit through the ringing, even pulling my legs up onto the chair and wrapping my arms around them. But when that shrill sound rang through my apartment again, I knew it hadn't been an accident.

Someone wanted to see me.

Into my apartment and my eyes wandered uncertainly to the entrance, which I could see through the open room door.

Would the person come in straight away?

Just smash the wood?

Or really wait for me to open the door?

I had to go and see who it was, because it was giving me no peace. Rather reluctantly, I moved away from the meokbang stream and rose to my trembling feet.
