I watched with a fascinated smile as my best friend busied himself in the kitchen trying out a new Korean recipe. The room was filled with the tantalizing aromas of spices and fresh ingredients. Soobin's passionate dedication to the art of cooking was evident in every precise movement as he harmoniously blended the flavors together. His skillful hands danced over the cooking utensils and his eyes shone with joy. A cheerful hum accompanied his steps as he juggled between the various pots and pans. The careful selection of spices revealed his attention to detail as he explored the culinary secrets of Korea.
I couldn't help but be impressed by the gift with which Soobin handled the ingredients. His fascination with Korean cuisine was reflected in every moment, and it was as if he was creating his own art form - a symphony of flavors and aesthetics.
If you want to put it gallantly.
My gaze followed his hands spellbound and to be honest, I couldn't wait to finally taste it. It was pure torture as a gourmet to watch a chef and have to wait until he perfected his new recipe.
A seductive smile adorned Soobin's face as he completed the final touches. "Now it just needs to simmer a little," he announced, looking up at me, "I hope you're hungry." The smell of delicious aromas spread through the room and made the anticipation of the upcoming meal almost tangible. I could feel my taste buds tingling with excitement.
"Really hungry," I mumbled and turned away from the pot, sighing theatrically. "I can hardly wait." And that wasn't even a lie, after all, my stomach was growling like crazy.
Laughing, Soobin supported himself with both arms on the kitchen counter, in front of him the hob on which the bubbling pot stood. "Soon, don't panic," he assured me and you could see from his face that he could hardly wait. However, as the dish still needed time, Soobin tried a topic of conversation that wasn't really new to me. "Did you get your invitation to the class reunion yet?" he asked me with a grin. "I was quite surprised. Arrived yesterday."
I nodded, because I had received mine relatively early. "Yeah, yeah," I mumbled with a shrug. "Are you going?" I finally asked, knowing about Soobin's popularity in high school. After all, we had known each other for ages and had been inseparable ever since. We'd been living our lives together since elementary school. So it wasn't as if I didn't know anything about his opinion.
