When I read this blog entry, I was overcome with a mixture of sympathy and understanding. ghostlychoi's lines brought back memories of my middle school days. It surprised me that he had actually gone to the same school as me. I tried to remember if I had noticed him and I remembered that I had hardly seen him during that time, barely noticed him and had almost completely lost sight of him in senior school. Nevertheless, I knew that he had existed.
The classes at our school were large, so you didn't necessarily have anything to do with every pupil.
I read about Beomgyu's painful experiences and reflected on the feelings that such experiences can trigger. It was hard to judge who the 'asshole' was, if anyone. Rather, I realized that we all go through our own struggles, some visible, some hidden.
I reached for my smartphone to continue reading the blog there because it was also more convenient. It also allowed me to return to the stream and listen to the deep voice.
