'I too agree with Arjun. You better stop this nonsense.' Alen said. He too looked agitated with Ron's attitude.
'It is not actually 'better stop it' but stop it from this instant.' Arjun said. His eyes going back to the book. 'Think what will happen when your parents come to know that you are treating far folks like this. Do not forget that your father has renounced the Aerasian tradition completely. If he comes to know that his son is practicing it. That will be your end.'
'As if he will come to know about it.' Ron said. 'And more importantly, she humiliated me by coming out of the lake and drenching me with water. Those kids criticized me for three years. I am not going to spare her.'
'Ron, maybe there was an emergency or something else going on then. Why would a farmaid come out to the surface otherwise? And this all took place three years ago.' Arjun said.
'Ron, we both have made our final decision and you better follow it.' Alen said raising his hand to show that the conversation was over.
'Shannon' Shannon heard arjun exclaiming, she turned back and saw that the boy 'arjun' was none other than the same boy who she bumped into yesterday.
'Arjun.' Shannon said in a hestitant voice, her eyes glowed in yellow sparks. She didn't want to face him after the loss she created yesterday.
'You're a first leveler.' He asked, in shock.
'Yeah.' Shannon replied. 'Seems like you are also a first leveler.'
'Yes, I am.' He replied.
'Who is she.' Ron enquired, he had a perplexed look.
'She is- that girl- with-with that incident of- crystalline bird.' Arjun replied uncertainly. He certainly didn't want to talk about what happened the other day.
'The reason why Mrs William interrupted my sleep, in short.' Ron completed.
'Ron.' Alen said stamping on Ron's foot.
'What!' Ron yelled back.
'Mrs William...............sleep.' Shannon murmered. 'What's all that got to do with me.'
Arjun glared at Ron and then raking his hand through his hair asked. 'Did you do something yesterday.' On seeing Shannon's confused face, he added. 'Something you are not supposed to do.'
'Mrs. William............me doing something that I shouldn't do............yesterday.' Shannon said in a whisper. Then a thought erupted in her mind. Her eyes erupted into yellow flames.
'Mrs William came to our apartment yesterday at midnight.' Alen explained. 'Bringing back Arjun's crystalline bird. She said that you really tried to get this bird back and even did something that would get you in serious trouble.'
'Mrs. William returned the bird.' Shannon exclaimed in shock.
'So you did something, didn't you.' Ron ridiculed.
'Yes, I did.' Shannon confessed. 'Arjun, I promise I had no idea how expensive that bird was until a few friends told me and when I knew that I caused such a huge loss. I felt guilty and wanted to get it back.'
'Shannon' Arjun said getting tensed. 'You went to the forest to get that bird.'
'Are you girl itself?' Ron said loudly. The students around them turned to look at them.
'Ron.' Arjun said glaring at him. 'Stop shouting or else everyone will come to know what happened yesterday.'
'Sorry.' Ron apologized. 'From what I know, girls do not break rules.'
