SAPPHIRE (PART-3)

I never thought till today, how I manipulated my thoughts. So, when my parents entered my mind, they saw something different from the truth. If my parents couldn't break the barrier, then how come you can do it?

And when I saw you first, you were a snake. Are you a transformer? And who is this person called Ced, you are talking to looking at the sky? Answer all these questions, then I will answer you.'

'Fine.' Eve replied, with a displeased look. 'I am a nagini. Half human and half serpent.'

'But there is no naga's in Light.'

'I am not from Light. I was sent here, for your protection. Other than the seven universes, there exist smaller worlds. I came from the Alroux realm also known as Naga's world. The most powerful realm exists. I was trained by the most powerful being of all seven universes, my mentor, and teacher- Ced. That's what I call him. That's why I can enter your mind. Only three people can read your mind; Me, Ced, and Ave.'

'Who is Ave.'

'Don't worry, she will never come to Light. Not unless you fail in your mission.'

'I have never heard of anyone called Ced, till today.'

'Shannon, you stayed for twelve years on earth but the only place you have seen is the country you stayed. Earth is a small tiny ball compared to the entire Light. And more importantly, Ced isn't his name. I call him that.'

'But why does he need to protect me? And why did he even send you here? What relation do I share with him.'

'He has no blood relation with you and neither does he need you. You are the one who needs him. You keep on asking why destiny chose you. The same destiny chose him as your mentor. To prepare you to fight against the wrong doer of humanity. Shannon, you will meet Ced one day. Or you must have already. You can't tell- what goes through his mind.

He is omniscient, all-knowing, all-seeing. He can see across time and the future. He has been given the responsibility of your protection. Your parents protected you because you were their daughter. He has to do it for the greater good.

And now, for the question of why he sent me. Even though you stayed on earth. Your parents were worried all the time. Have you ever wondered why?'

'Because they knew Volt was outside the portal. So, he could finish me off.'

'Yes, partially correct but Volt can't do much without Veronica's staff. Which was sucked inside the portal. So, he can't finish you but he can find out who you were. And the most aspiring part of you is your power. The essence of the fairy in you was more powerful. And Volt could track you down with it.

So, Ced sent me to you. I wasn't inside your mind; in fact, I was always around you. I talked to you through telepathy. As a royal of the alroux realm, I had a strong essence. But as I was trained by Ced, I became more powerful. Enough to hide your essence, from the rest of the world. But my essence of a snake is- what attracted certain animals to you. And it is because of me snakes were friendly with you.

I was protecting you all these years; this is my duty and I am just fulfilling it. Even when you came to Whitewood, you didn't need me because you were inside Whitewood's protective shield. But then also, I visited you in your dreams every night. Checked your day's activities and by morning I would erase everything.'

'You used to enter my mind, to check on my daily activities but I used to cry out aloud. And suffer pain.'

'You didn't cry or suffer every night. And neither was the pain because of me. It was because of your blood bond.'
