𖦹° Sehmat's Pov :

"Alright, take it easy! No need to do the remedy in the bathtub. You can simply do it on the couch in the living room. What do you say?" I ask and he shot a glare at me.

i held the urge to roll my eyes at him, but then he is my patient and I should treat him nicely with more patience and speak to him politely.

" okay " he mumbled.

I asked him to sit on the couch, he sat on one of the couch in front of the tv and coffee table I grabbed the scented candle from him.

" don't you have a lighter or match sticks ?" I asked gazing at the candle and then at Rayyan.

"There you go, you can find a lighter inside the drawer," he pointed to the shelf on the other side of the living room.

But I didn't know exactly where, so I asked him again, "Can you be more precise?" Grunting, he stood up and walked towards that side near the shelf, and I followed him.

As we walked to that side of the living room, there was this massive dark brown wooden shelf covering half the wall.

The other half was all decked out with trophies, certificates, and medals. My eyes lit up with excitement and my brows shot up in amusement.

Rayyan was grabbing the lighter, but my eyes were fixated on all his awards and medals.

The design logo on one of the medals depicted a person swimming and my lips formed a thin line.

Confusion clouded my mind as my brows furrowed, but everything became clear when I read the words on one of the certificates, " this swimming medal and certificate is presented to Rayyan Syed".

Also there were so many trophies with swimming logo's. " Are you a swimmer ?" I asked excitement and confusion laced in my tone.

" I was" he replied.

" was ? Aren't you a swimmer now ?" I inquired.

"No, I quit swimming two years ago. It used to be my favorite hobby, but now I can't stand it. It's something I hate and despise. Maybe I can even call it the source of my misery." he replied glaring at those certificates, medals and trophies.

i didn't understand a single bit of it but I nodded and hummed in response. " were you a great swimmer?" I asked gazing at him.

" your answer is right in front of you, are you really this dumb or do you intend to be one ?" he replied mockingly yet softly gazing at wall.

" why did you quit swimming ? i mean I don't understand why ?" I questioned, I know I'm invading his privacy but I couldn't just resist.

He snapped towards me, his eyes darkening, jaw tightening, and his hand shaking in response to my question.
