Sitting on the couch in the apartment, I glanced over at my grumpy wife, who was giving me the evil eye for everything that went down at the hospital.

I had to really hold back the urge to fucking rip her scrubs and fuck her right there in the hospital but I knew it wasn't the right time nor the right place.

Right now she caught our pale lie and ended up kicking all of us out, but Irza, being the peacemaker, gave her some advice on being nice to friends and husband.

We were allowed back in.

It was so disrespectful but If it were anyone else disrespecting me, I'd have been buried them alive, but when it's Sehmat, my ego just disappears.

I'm down to handle any tantrums she throws, at the moment she was definitely throwing her fire daggers at me while I hold the cup in my hand so that she can fill it with the coffee.

Irza brewed coffee for the three of us, and we were all sitting on the couch while Sehmat served it.

Her captivating green eyes darkened, and she seemed really angry, as if she could grab my hair and bang my head against the wall at any moment.

" are you mad, doctor wife?" I asked as if I'm some innocent little soul like a newborn.

She poured the coffee into my cup, then turned around to place the pot on the table. When she faced me again, her sharp eyes were glaring, and she angrily placed her hands on her hips, leaning in towards me.

"Someday, I'll kill you," she glared at me.

"Marna toh sabko hai! Par agar aap aise ghoorengi toh sachme mar na jaoon," I teased.

"Kitna chapri dialogue hai! Sehmi jaan, let me try. This bastard doesn't know how to flirt," Rafey butted in, and I scowled in annoyance.

"Sehmi jaan, say the same thing to me," Rafey said, leaving Sehmat dumbfounded, not understanding what he was trying to say.

While Haris was busy gazing at Irza, who was in the kitchen microwaving some food for us.

"Say to me the same thing you said to Rayyan baby girl a minute ago," he nagged like a child.

"Someday, I'll kill you!" Sehmat boringly repeated, listening to Rafey's insistence.

Meanwhile, my scowl deepened.

"Marna toh sabko hai! Toh main bhi mar jaata hoon, aaj tum par, kal Irza par," he replied in a flirtatious manner, making my eyes widen.
