K. Arthur: I think that you're mistaking this man for someone else Lancelot.

There was a silence but then... The knight let go of my wrist to take my hand fully and went on one knee in front of me.

Lancelot: It has been an honour to have you by my side and to have risk your life for our sake. An act of bravery and of true intention as yours have to be properly rewarded. So I came here to thank you myself, miss...

Y/N: ... Miss Y/N.

Lancelot: Miss Y/N. Thank you for saving this day although taking those risks.

As he looked deeply in my eyes all along, he bent his head a little and kissed my hand. My heart fluttered deeply as I felt heat in my cheeks. I had never been hand-kissed and the fact that it was by him made it magical. He got up and it was to the King to come closer to me.

K. Arthur: The Sire Lancelot said it all. Miss Y/N, I have seen many acts of courage in my life but this was really riské from you although really courageous. You have my admiration.

He bowed and I tried to stop him.

Y/N: My King, I had done nothing but to fulfill a duty towards the people, I don't need any admiration nor title, nor-

K. Arthur: What you did was remarkable and I do have some questions if it is proper from me to ask.

Y/N: It is proper from your majesty.

K. Arthur: How have you been able to get to such a good ability to fight even without any of our special training at our castle?

I looked at my brother as he looked at the floor for a moment.

Y/N: I'm training regularly alone with any weapon I can have close to me. I lost someone really dear to me one day and I often told myself that I could have saved her... That I wasn't ready enough. Now, I'm doing my best to protect the people I care about.

I saw the Sire Percival and Gawain looking at Lancelot. Being truthful was the best option here.

K. Arthur: I see... Then I think I'm going to go with my last question. How? Even with all of our powers we were weirdly not able to get to him and you, even injured...

Y/N: His Majesty haven't seen the special aura around him?

K. Arthur: Of course, I did.

Y/N: Well, I understood when I finally noticed that he was able to block all of your special attacks from every corner all the time. I felt like he wasn't seeing me... He was only seeing the powers, not me, the rustic villager girl I was and I took that to my advantage. I didn't really get injured but I let myself think as dead and chose the good moment to attack from behind since he couldn't feel my presence from afar. When I was close him, it was too late.

Everybody looked surprised first but thinking of the combat again, they realized the truth of my saying.

K. Arthur: Well... Lancelot, this lady is even more surprising than what I taught she would be.

Y/N: I'm sorry if his Highness' deceived by-

K. Arthur: No, no, do not worry. I'm only deceived by the fact that you aren't part of my Right Guards Table.

I was wide-eye just by hearing this title. The King had his three main knights but just after the knights of the Round-table, there was the highest rank of the guards. The Right Guards Table.

Y/N: B-but his Majesty wouldn't really take in consideration a commoner like me to enter one of his closest army.

K. Arthur: And why that Miss Y/N?

Y/N: I'm not trained with the rules of war nor anything and...

K. Arthur: You may speak freely in my presence.

Y/N: And I do not feel at ease with swords. I would really like to look forward into knowing how to directed them properly though.

Suddenly, I realized how dump my act was of being so truthful. Thinking of my family, I could get my dad to retire more earlier and my brother to recover for a while if I was taking this offer.

Y/N: I'm sorry if the King think of me as an over-asking person. I would actually be glad to do whatever the King wants me to do if he thinks I could be useful somewhere.

K. Arthur: I'm not only seeing in a person the use of an ally joining my army but I'm especially seeing someone who's able to help, who wants to ameliorate the system if he's seeing any problem, who's giving their best but also using their mind and physical ability. Are you someone who's ready to walk forward into turning a society to its best for the sake of civilians who wants to find shelter and peace?

Y/N: Yes, I will for those who need.

K. Arthur: Will you take courage and honour as a law to your heart to follow when the darkest times will come? Even through the valley of the shadow of death and the middle of the field of combat?

Y/N: I... Will.

A smile appeared on his muzzle and he got out his sword. I went on my knee and he lightly touched each of my shoulder with his sword.

K. Arthur: Me, King Arthur, am declaring Miss Y/N part of the Right Guards Table after the events that led us here today. To show the value of the brave acts that had been seen before us and that we had assisted today. On this, we are heading back to the castle. Right Guard Y/N... It has been an honour and I'll see you around very soon.
