Our mouths connected again and everything felt warm and soft. Sometimes I would peak at his closed or half-opened eyes. As alive they looked like with the boiling red inside of them, I was amazed by those ruby orbs. Out of the dark, I heard something around us, then... A yell.

Mighty: Y/N?!

I turned around, still in the arms of Lancelot.

Y/N: Mighty? What are you doing here?

Mighty: I can't believe it... All this time... You... You cheated on me!

Y/N: What?! How... How dare you! We were never something Mighty! It's been years since what you did...

We stood there, meters away but the humongous tension was in the atmosphere. The cold breeze was up for a moment.

Mighty: You said that you had forgive me!

Y/N: You... You know how many times I told you Mighty. I do not love you nor anything.

Mighty: But you love him instead?!

I had tears coming out from my eyes as I felt the knight's arms not around me anymore. Lancelot wasn't sure if he could trust me now only because of that foolish saying of the armadillo.

Y/N: Mighty... I was scared of love, of attention, of care... Of any kind of affection because of you. All of that because of you! Even if I had forgive you for your acts, I never felt anything for you.

Mighty: Y/N... You have to understand! I... I... I LOVE YOU!

Y/N: AND I DON'T! THE ONLY MEMORY I HAVE OF YOU IN MY DREAMS IS WHEN YOU WERE ABOUT TO... To...

My shoulders began to shake and I put my arms around me like I was trying to protect myself. Tears were flooding in my face.

Y/N: To touch me. It's been three years! Why won't you just move on from me?! Like the other girls you were-

Mighty: I told you already, I CHANGED! I... I changed my Y/N.

Y/N: Don't you ever dare to call me yours again. I never belonged to you and I never will be. You broke me in one of my weakest moments. It's too late now.

Mighty: Y/N... I love yo-

Y/N: And I hate you Mighty. Go away from me, stop trying to stay in my head and leave my feelings alone. I can't take it anymore, you're hurting me. G-go... I- I can't stand it anymore, I-I...

Lancelot: She belongs to someone else now. Someone who'll care about her and I will. Forever.

The sudden interruption of the lovely hedgehog on my right gave me the little strength I needed to stay up on my feet again. He put his left arm around me to pull me closer to him and he got out his sword in front of us.

Lancelot: If you ever dare to even lay a finger on her... You can assure yourself you'll never see her nor the light again. She won't come back to you now. She made it clear, so if you stop to act like a pathetic and foolish man who's pushing her to your own benefit... Go.

Mighty's fists clenched and he looked at Shadow dead in the eye, then at me. I hugged myself to Shadow's chest and he whispered me that he was there and that I didn't have to be scared anymore. I felt him kiss my hear but after a chuckle we heard.

Mighty: Y/N... You never understood that I had always tried to protect you all those years.

It was unbelievable how this man was pushy and forceful.

Mighty: I never told anybody that you learned about plants and healed some people in secret. I never talked about your nocturne training with strangers. I never bothered you in the forest here at night, knowing that you would have never forgive to have did so after but no... It's fine if it's him. He can and touch you-

Lancelot: You, watch your mouth.

Y/N: You... You knew?

Mighty: All along but as I said, I never came to bothered you so I don't understand why-

Y/N: I LOVE HIM, THAT'S WHY!

Those were my last words and he knew it. Our friendship was over now and the gate between us, destroyed. The armadillo closed his eyes tight but the second he opened them, a different glim was in them as he looked at the knight.

Mighty: Well, if I don't have her...

He got out a sword from behind him.

Mighty: You will not either.
