Brenda ran over and hugged me. My eyes got wide and I looked at everyone. Me and Brenda never really showed affection to people so it was weird that she was hugging me.
She let go and then slapped me. Everyone was quiet and I put my hand up to my face. "What was that for?!" I said confused but angry. I slapped her back and she gasped.
"You b*tch!" Brenda said angrily, she was gonna h!t me again but Jorge grabbed me and put me over his shoulder.
"All right everyone chill out." Jorge said trying to calm us down. "You made us think you were dead!" Brenda said yelling at me.

Jorge put me down away from Brenda. "What?" I said confused, why would I be dead? "Ami told us u were killed by WCKD." Jorge said "wait you saw Ami!" I said kinda excited. "Dude, did you not hear the part about us thinking you were dead?" Thomas said.
"Well I'm not dead so there's that. I've been looking for Ami all day, besides Minho literally saw me this morning around 8." I said looking at Minho.
"She came by a few hours ago." Minho said looking at me. "Well do you know where she went?!" I said kinda yelling. "She wouldn't tell us." Newt said. "What is going on with her." I said.
"Maybe she's trying to protect you." Winston said. "From what." I said confused, what is she trying to protect me from..
"Us. If you stay here it's only a matter of time before WCKD finds all of us." Frypan said and I just looked at him and didn't say anything. My eyes shifted to my feet and everyone was quiet.
"Alright why don't you guys get ready for bed. Brenda and Elodie come with me." Jorge said and I looked at Minho and he had a concerned look on his face.
I followed Brenda and Jorge into the balcony and he shut the door behind the three of us.
"We need to figure out what's going on." Jorge said, and he was right. "Why would Ami lie and say that that u were dead?" Brenda asked. "I have no idea, I looked for her all day. I thought she was the one dead." I said kinda mad cause why would she do this.
"I think we need to move the Glader's before WCKD comes and takes them." Jorge said. "If WCKD finds them, they'll kill us." Brenda said. I was kinda stressing out over that. "Where can we go?" I asked Jorge. "I'll figure it out tomorrow." Jorge said and he went back inside, I looked at Brenda.
"I'm sorry about earlier, I know you were just worried about me." I said apologizing to Brenda. "I'm sorry too." Brenda said and I smiled at her and went back inside.
"Elodie you should stay here with Brenda and I" Jorge said and I never turned my head so fast in my life. "Wait, really?" I said making sure this wasn't a prank.
"Yea we'd love to have you stay with us. Not gonna lie it's kinda crazy with all the Glader's here." Brenda said and I just laughed. I noticed the door to the living room was shut.
