The barrier surrounding the city powered off and I saw the huge cement dome. Minho helped me up and I watched as pieces of the dome kept falling.
"What is going on?" Newt asked confused
"I don't know.." I said getting a weird feeling.
All of a sudden I heard a loud noise and turned around to see Janson and his team rising from tubes like what we had been put in days before. Minho grabbed my hand and stood in front of me.
Janson walked over to where the barrier had been broken into and didn't say a word.
I saw a medical team and they were staring at us, they looked concerned.
"Should we make a run for it?" Minho asked
He was whispering to the 4 of us.
"Are you crazy? They have guns Minho, we'd die before we were even close to the hole." Fry said
"He's right, we would need a better plan." Newt added
I was really starting to not feel good and I was in a lot of pain.
"Hey Elodie you okay?" Thomas asked me
"Yea all good."
I smiled so they weren't worried.
"Janson seems pretty focused on that hole." Fry said
"I wonder what happened, it doesn't seem like it was part of WCKDs plan." Thomas said
"I honestly have no idea what's going on but i feel a little better that they're in here because they won't add any natural disasters." I told them
"That's true." Minho added
We all sat down and watched as the WCKD employees inspected the explosion.
After about 15 minutes we heard a helicopter and saw one fly straight through the hole in the dome.
I stood up and saw Brenda and Jorge.
"No f*cking way."
I smiled and the guards started shooting at the helicopter. Brenda leaned out the window and waved us all over.
