I was talking to Minho and heard gunshots. He pulled me down and we hid together behind a jeep.
"We can't catch a break, can we?" Minho said to me.
"Guess not."
I smiled until a bullet shattered the window above me. I put my hands up to protect my face and Minho made sure I was okay.
"Who the hell is shooting at us?!" Jorge yelled but whispered at the same time.
"No clue but I think they're angry." Brenda said.
The shooting stopped and I peeked my head out from behind the jeep.
"Can I help you guys?" I turned to see 2 girls.
"Actually yes-" I said but was cut off by Jorge.
"Elodie don't be stupid." Jorge told me.
"I'm not, we need to find this girl because that guy had a tantrum." I told the girls. I pointed to Thomas and he flipped me off.
"Anyways! She's like this tall, brown hair, blue eyes, horrible attitude and personality-" I was cut off once again.
"Her name is Teresa." Thomas said interrupting me.
"Oh yea." I said.
The girls smiled at my comments.
"We know her, follow us" one girl said.
"Nice one Elodie." Newt told me.
"Thanks newt" I said smiling.
He laughed a little and Minho walked next to me. The two girls walked us to 2 cars and we all got in.
"I'm Harriet by the way, and this is Sonya." The Harriet girl said.
They smiled at us and we all introduced ourselves .

"So y'all are immune?" Sonya asked.
"Brenda, Elodie and I aren't. We're pretty sure they are though." Jorge told the 2 girls.
They drove up the mountain and reached what looked like a campsite. We all got out and looked around.
"She's over here." Harriet said.
Thomas followed right behind her and I saw Teresa sitting by a fire.
"How'd you find me?" Teresa asked shocked.
"Why the hell did you leave?!" Thomas yelled at her.
"Because Elodie is so mean to me, I'm sick of it!" Teresa yelled.
I smirked and Brenda laughed a little.
"Stop playing the victim Teresa. We all put ourselves in danger for you" newt told her. And Teresa said nothing.
"So can we go back now?" I asked them.
"I like it here." Teresa said.
"And?" Brenda added
"Just stay for a few hours." Teresa said. She looked like she was up to something...
"Is that okay Jorge?" Thomas asked
"...I guess." Jorge said hesitantly
I groaned and Minho laughed. We all sat around the fire talking for hours and the sun was about to set. I could tell Teresa was anxious and I was a little confused.
"You okay?" Minho asked me.
I had zoned out and the looked at him.
"Yea everything is fine."
I smiled and he raised his eyebrows.
"Promise." I said.
"If you say so."
