The Glader's would sleep on the couch in the living room or on the floor with blankets because it was the only room that could fit them all.
"Elodie can you go bring these extra blankets to them" Jorge asked. "Yea sure." I said. He handed me a few blankets and I opened the living room door. They were sitting in a circle whispering and I gave them a weird look.
"This is a Glader's Convention." Teresa said. Gosh I hate her. I smiled and threw the blankets on the floor without saying anything. I left the room and closed the door behind me.
"I think they're coming up with some kind of plan or something." I told Brenda and Jorge. "Why? A plan for what." Brenda asked. "I'm not sure but they wouldn't talk about it in front of me." I said. "I'll figure it out." Jorge said.
I went to bed and got up early to do some errands with Brenda. I got in my dad's truck that was still kinda beat up from my accident and went to the store. I picked up food and talked to a few people who were in the streets.
I was known for always talking to people, I didn't open up to them much but I was still always quite friendly. Me and Brenda loaded the grocery bags in the car and started driving back to the house.
I saw Janson talking to some people and yelled at Brenda to stop the car. She slammed on the brakes and rolled down the window to try and hear what he was saying.
"Can you hear anything?" Brenda asked in a whispering tone. "Not really" I said to her. I kept listening but couldn't make out exactly what he was saying. "Elodie?" Brenda said. "Hm" I asked. "Elodie?!" Brenda said louder this time. "Shh I can't hear" I said but she grabbed my arm and I looked at her. She pointed across the street at a group of people.
"You have got to be kidding me" I said.
I made eye contact with Thomas and his eyes got wide.
