I got in an elevator with a guard and went to floor 5. When I got off the elevator I could hear yelling. I found room 307 and looked at the guard.

"You're not really going to make me do this, are you?"

"Not my rules."

I realized the guard was a woman.

"And if you mention anything about being forced to do this, I will not hesitate to k!ll you."

I turned back to the door and the guard hid around the corner so they couldn't see her. I unlocked the door and it swung open. They all stopped what they were doing and no one said anything.

"Ummm.. hey." I said awkwardly.

Minho ran and hugged me. He lifted me off the ground and I hugged him back. He set me on the floor and looked at my head.

"Are you okay??"

"Yea, I have stitches and a headache but I'm okay."

I smiled and looked at the others.

"I'm glad you guys are okay too."

"I'm surprised Janson let them save you." Thomas said.

"Trust me, same"

I was glad to be back with them and then I remembered what I had to do.

"Follow me."

I turned and left the room. They followed behind me and I led them to where Janson was. Before I opened the door I turned around and let them see my face. I had a pale face and Minho knew I was terrified.

"I'm so so sorry..."

Janson opened the door before I even had the opportunity and all the gladers took a step back.

"Phase 2" Janson said.

He had this smile that sent chills down my back. He had his arm around me and I just started at the floor.

"Wow. 2 traders.." newt said

"I-"

"Remember Elodie." Janson said sternly.

I looked at the guard and stopped talking.

"Elodie , why?" Minho said hurt.

I couldn't meet his eyes, it hurt me to much. I knew I was doing something horribly wrong. Guards pushed them into the room and Janson closed the door leaving me alone in the hallway.

I looked at the door and tears filled my eyes.

"Damn it!"

I punched a mirror on the wall and it shattered. Blood painted my hands but I didn't care. I slid down the door and pulled my knees to my chest.

"They trusted me..."

I covered my face with my hands and sat in silence.

"Elodie?" Teresa asked.

I put my hands down and looked at her.

"What do you want."

"I just wanted to talk."

I waved my hand at the spot next to me.

"I'm surprised you haven't yelled at me yet." Teresa said.

"How could I? I'm doing the same thing. It's hypocritical."

"Well I had a choice, you didn't."

"I guess"

We sat there not saying anything and the I stood up. Teresa saw the blood on my hand but didn't question it. I tried to open the door but it was locked.

"What are you doing?" Teresa asked.

"Do you have a gun?" I asked her.

"Uh yea-"

I grabbed it from her hand and shot the doorknob. I kicked the door in and saw the gladers about to enter the arena.

"Elodie what do you think you're doing?" Janson asked.

"I was selfish, I wanted to save myself over all you. I'm so sorry."

"What?" Minho asked confused.

" it doesn't matter, I want to make things right."

I looked at Janson and grabbed a huge flare. I quickly lit it and the room quickly filled with smoke.

The gladers got what I was thinking and ran out of the room. I followed them and then closed the door and pushed a coach in front of it.

"What the hell was this Elodie?!" Newt yelled.

"Listen I'm sorry-"

"You almost killed us!" Winston added.

"And then I saved you."

"Why would you do that in the first place?!" Minho yelled.

"Because Janson threatened to k!ll me! If you guys had gone in there, you would've had a chance. I have no chance now, so your f*cking welcome."

"Let's talk about this later, come on." Thomas said camly.

"You know what I found out right before Elodie tried to kill us?" Newt said.

I didn't say anything. They were stating to annoy me a lot.

"Sonya is my sister."

"That's great." I said.

I kept walking and they followed me.

"We've had 2 people betray us in the past 18 hours." Fry said.

I walked into a small room and made them come inside.

"Alright get it out. Tell me how much I f*cked up, and how much you hate me."

"We don't-" Minho was cut off by newt.

"No she deserves this! I almost lost my only family that night in the mountains!" Newt said.

"That was Teresa, not me."

"Yea? Well she almost lost me today!" Newt yelled.

"I'm sorry newt, but you think I don't know how this feels?"

"No you don't know how it feels! Your parents are dead, you have no family!" Newt yelled.

I felt like he had taken a knife and stabbed me in the chest. No one said anything and newt immediately knew he messed up. My voice was barely loud enough to hear.

"Wow.."

I turned and walked to the door. I opened it and left without any of them coming after me.
