Theo's POV

After Adam dropped off Savannah at the dessert place, he had a few words with me. He knew something was up. He knew I hadn't been sleeping and that I'd barely been eating. He knows I didn't mean to hurt Savannah or even fight with Matt. He tried long and hard to get me to tell him the real reason why I'd been off, but I just couldn't.

I had to convince him that I was in a good enough state to drive so I could pick up Savannah from the dessert place. Regardless of what she's done, she didn't deserve what I did. Also, I had to make sure she knew it's not normal for a man to behave like that, no matter what she might've done against them. When I'm gone, I don't know what she will allow other men to do to her, so I wanted to advise her and remind her that she'll always have Adam. I hate what she did to me, but I can't help but care for her and make sure she knows these things.

My mood then dropped when I caught her smiling at messages right in front of my face. When I questioned her about it, she told me it was Rosanna, but her face showed it all. I then asked to check her phone, and even though she gave it, I couldn't make myself see what was inside. I knew that if I did, it'd be the start of making things up with her, and I knew deep down that I am weak...

I would've taken her back.

That being said, it seemed like she was going to confess, it was like she wanted to say more but was holding things back. I waited the entire night for her to say something about what she'd done, but after our time in the car, it was like it didn't bother her anymore. My anger slowly started to build up throughout the night. Why wouldn't she just tell the truth?

I manage to sleep, but only because I've barely had any rest the past 48 hours. When I wake up in the morning, I see Sav still sleeping. She's had enough time to tell me, I can't wait for her anymore. It's Emilia's last night today, and I need to make sure I'm on that plane with her.

After getting ready, I lie and tell the others Sav is sleeping in so I can eat breakfast with only them as it will probably be the last time we eat together. At the table, all I could think about was how much I am going to miss them all and wish things were different. Matt is a character, but he has a lot of good in him. Rosanna is a loyal friend and has a slight attitude about her that puts a smile on everyone's face. And Adam... I'm going to miss him the most. He's the nicest person I've ever met, he's so mature and humble. I look up to him and learn so much from him.

After eating, we all spend some time at the beach. Then I make my way inside the hotel to call Emilia.

"Hey, Theo, how are you?" Emilia asks as she answers the phone.

"Hey, I'm alright, thanks. Have you had something to eat?"

"Yeah, just had breakfast. I'm back in my room now."

"Okay, good. How were your desserts with Sav? What did you think of her?"

"Aww, she's such a nice person, Theo. I really like her."  That's not what I wanted to hear.

"Oh... Really?" I voice my disappointment.

"Why?" Emilia asks with concern.

"I was hoping you'd notice what I see."

"What do you mean?"

I sigh as I begin to tell my lie. "I don't know, I just think she's using me. I know she doesn't like me because she stares at other men in front of me. And I think she's only with me for money as she always asks for it. But I can't leave her because..." I stop myself. How do I even say this to my little sister?

"What is it, Theo? You can tell me."

I realise Emilia's an adult, so I continue. "It's just, one minute I'd want to leave, and then the next I'd be so attached to her because... you know... she'd do stuff to me." I lie.
