Chapter Three

TRIGGER WARNING-SEXUAL CONTENT

As the morning light filtered through the curtains, Jack stirred awake, finding himself wrapped in the warmth of tangled sheets and Alex's presence beside him. Memories of the night before flooded back, the mind blowing sex they continue to have was lingering in the air.

Ever since they hooked up 2 weeks ago, Alex being in his bed was becoming a reoccurring thing for Jack. This time though, they were at Alex's apartment.

Alex stirred awake a few moments after Jack.
He sat up, resting his back against his headboard.

"Morning Mr. Barakat." Alex said in a hoarse voice.

Alex was rubbing at his eyes,wiping the sleep out of them.

Jack found Alex's morning voice incredibly sexy. It had a grit to it that sent vibrations straight through Jack. Jack also found it sexy when Alex called him Mr. Barakat.

"Hello Alex." Jack said simply. Not feeling the need to elaborate further.

Jack and Alex ride this fine line. They talk and flirt and are friendly, but neither of them wants to say too much and cause a deeper connection. Both of them are comfortable with the surface level friendship/fuck buddies balance they have found.

"I didn't even realize you stayed the night. I passed out pretty quickly after we hooked up. You wore me out." Alex said with a wink.

Jack smirked. "You wore me out too. I am old ya know."

Alex rolled his eyes.

"I tried to leave but I was so sleepy I just ended up staying. I hope that was ok?" Jack said a bit hesitantly. Worried he overstayed his welcome.

Alex shrugged nonchalantly.

"It's fine. I would rather you sleep here then try to drive back to Beverly Hills when you are tired." Alex said with an understanding tone.

"Awwwe he cares a little." Jack said with a chuckle.

Alex chuckled before he turned in bed, so he was facing Jack, Alex sat cross legged under the covers.

"I've been thinking," Alex began, breaking the comfortable silence. "About us."

Jack went wide eyed. Oh no. This is the last time they will see each other. Alex caught feelings. Jack will have to cut this off.

"Oh?" Jack said simply. Wanting Alex to explain more before he continued to spiral.

"I am proposing a long term fuck buddies or friends with benefits -whatever term you prefer- relationship with you." Alex said with a curious tone.

Jack listened intently.

"I am having the best sex of my life with someone who is incredibly hot and he seems to not expect much else then sex. I don't think I want much else right now. And it is a bit taboo, which makes it even hotter, and it makes me want more. So- in short, I am not really wanting to stop this sexual and casual affair we have going." Alex said while he nervously bit his lip.

After a moment of consideration, Jack nodded, his mind already formulating the rules they needed to establish.

"I agree, but we need ground rules. I have had friends with benefits relationships before that had no rules so it got messy very quickly. I would like to avoid that." Jack said with a curious look to Alex.

Alex was listening intently. "No I agree, rules are necessary. What did you have in mind?"

"First," Jack said, "We can't afford to let emotions complicate things. No falling in love. I don't really have the space or time for a relationship at this time. Currently, Love is the furthest thing from my mind."
