56. ENGAGEMENT

So it was the day when two humans who loved each other so much were going to engage officially. Though they were engaged by their hearts from the day Anuj saw Anu from Anuj's side and from Anu's side when she said yes to Anuj. There was no looking back from each other.

In the morning of the engagement there was some ritual from dadi's side. There will be 8 girls standing next to each other in the same outfit but with covering their heads with the saree's pallu and Anu will be one of the girls standing in between with a covered head and Anuj had to find out his Anu without touching anyone, only just by glancing.

Before this ritual Anuj went to Anu's room.
Anu just came out from the washroom after taking a bath and heard a knock, she opened the door and found it was Anuj.

~ Anuj aap itni subah??

~ yes baby it's me.... good morning baby....

She smiled,
~ good morning....

~ kya mai andar aa sakta hu??

She got tensed,
~ Anuj kisi ne dekh liya to.... Dadi ne dekh liya to vo hume dantengi....

~ nahin dantengi sab ke sab rituals and functions ki taiyari me busy hai.... Koi nahi dekhega hume.... ab to aa jau mohtarma??

~ tsch.... Aap bina aaye manenge nahi....

~ ji bilkul bhii nahi....

~ aaiye jaldi andar aaiye.... mai jaldi se gate lock kar leti hu.... Kisi ne saath dekh liya to hume fir sab pata nahi kya kya samjhenge isse acha main lock hi kar leti hu....

Anuj entered and she hastily locked to the door.
Anuj saw her doing it. She was looking so fresh and pretty that he started admiring her. She was looking so divine to him; her wet hair, those plumpy lips, droplets on her fresh face, dumpling wet body she was looking so perfect to him. He was amazed at this beauty and literally worshipping her each corner of the body with his eyes.

Anuj thought by keeping his hand on his heart.

Anu turned and saw him looking at her. She blushed profusely and to avoid his intense gaze on her, she said:

~ Anuj aap naha liye??

Anuj didn't listen but was just looking at her unabashedly.

She lightly nudged him.
~ Anuj mai kuch puch rahi hu....

He came out of the Anupama's world by little nudge from her.

~ ha.... Haan.... Kya hua.... Kuch kahe rahi thi tum....

~ ji bilkul aap kaha kho gaye the??

~ aahh kuch nahi tum bolo....

~ mai ye puch rahi thi ki aap naha liye??

She saw that he again didn't listen to her and was lost somewhere else. Then she noticed that he was looking at her lips continuously instead of her eyes.

She holded his chin and made him look straight into her eyes.

~ Anooooooooj maii aapse kuch puch rahi hu kabse.... Aap jawab hi nahi de rahe hai....

He saw everywhere else in the room except her eyes.

~ ummm sorry tum bolo kya puch rahi thi....
