Chapter 28:| I Almost Lost My Boyfriend

Chapter Twenty-Eight: I Almost Lost My Boyfriend

I was cutting some green peppers for the spaghetti when my cellphone was ringing. With a sigh, I stopped what I was doing and wiped my hands on a rag and answered my phone.

"I wanna die!!!! My life is horrible I hate it!!! I want to die!!" I heard Mason scream and cry.

"Mason!?" I screamed into the phone. He butt dialed me. And I'm glad that he did.

I then hanged up, and grabbed my car keys. And then rushed out of the kitchen and into the living room where Ryan and Cassidy were making out, I cleared my throat.

"What's wrong!?" Ryan asked while looking at me curiously.

"Mason is about to kill himself. Save some dinner for me okay?" I asked trying to keep myself together.

"Yeah okay." Ryan said with a nod and a frown.

I ran out of my house and into my car. Then started my engine. Mason Graham Davis, if I lose you tonight, I don't know what I'll do.

I ran inside Mason's house, and then I heard him screaming. I quickly dialed his mom's number.

"A-Amber Mason is trying to kill himself!!!! Come please!!" I croaked into the phone.

"Oh my gosh okay I'll call an ambulance, I'll be there as soon as I can." She said with her voice shaky.

I then hanged up and ran into Mason's bathroom, and the scene before me broke my heart in pieces, I then ran over to Mason.

"It won't open!!!" He screamed while trying to open the bleach bottle.

"MASON DAVIS!!!! STOP IT RIGHT NOW!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!??" I screamed while grabbing the bottle away from him and this made him mad.

"Peyton!!!! Give me the damn bleach now!!" He screamed into my face while making some spit go on my cheek but that's not important.

"NO!! YOU NEED HELP!!" I yelled hurting my throat in the process. Ugh why me?

We then heard the sirens. And the front door slam open. Mason fell on his knees and I sat on my knees pushing the bottle aside and wrapping my arms around Mason.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He croaked out while crying hysterically now.

Then the paramedics came and put Mason on the gurney and he held my hand.

"I'll meet you at the hospital, I have to tell your mom what happened." I said while kissing his hand.

"I love you Peyton." He whispered then he got taken down the stairs.

"I love you Mason." I said once I was by myself and I stood up and walked out of the bathroom.

I saw his mom down the stairs watching them take Mason out the door and once they closed it, she looked directly at me.

"Tell me everything that just happened here and I'll drive you to the hospital with me." She said with watery eyes and cleared her throat.

"Peyton?" Ryan shook me awake and I looked at Mason who was sleeping on the hospital bed.

"What? Yeah?" I asked while rubbing my eyes and yawning.

"Let's go home. I already drove your car home from Mason's and I took mine here. Come on you can see Mason tomorrow." He said while helping me up and handing me my phone.

"Alright, let me kiss him." I said while giving him a smile.

I then walked over to Mason and kissed him on his luscious lips. Then I followed Ryan out of the hospital room and out of the hospital.

Once I slipped in the passenger's seat, Ryan started the engine and began driving out of the parking lot.

"He's going to be okay." He said while turning on his blinker.

"I know, I just want to see his brown eyes that I loved seeing all the time. But he hasn't even opened them yet." I said with a frown.

"Don't worry, you'll be able to see them again. Just get some rest." He said while flashing me a smile.

"Yeah okay." I said.

"Peyton calm down!!" Colby said while putting her hands on my shoulders and looking at me.

"I can't!!!! Why me!!!??" I screamed while crying on my knees on the floor and Colby hugged me.

"He's okay. He'll be fine." She said while rubbing my back.

"Don't do that!!!! Mason always rubs my back don't do that!!" I croaked while sobbing.

"I'm sorry Peyton, I really am." She said while giving me a frown.

"I just want Mason." I sobbed.

"I know you do." She said while helping me up.

"I almost lost my boyfriend." I said while walking into the kitchen.

"Good news! Mason gets let out of the hospital tomorrow!" Sean said while walking into the kitchen smirking at the both of us.

"Oh wow, see Peyton, you can see Mason once he is at home." Colby said while smirking at me.

"I can wait." I said groggily while grabbing a cherry coke can from the refrigerator.

"See, I love your enthusiasm." Sean said while pulling Colby in his arms and kissing all over her neck.

"Thanks Sean, and make babies somewhere elsewhere." I said while glaring at her.

"Okay sheesh." Sean said while dragging a moaning Colby towards the back door.

I then warmed up some buffalo chicken bites in the microwave and then put them on a plate and sat down on the barstool and began to eat them.

"So I find you here eating." My dad said while smirking at me.

"What do you want?" I asked with my mouth full of heaven.

"To see if there's any updates on Mason." He said while grabbing a bag of chips and sitting next to me.

"He's coming home tomorrow. So my guess is that he woke up." I said while wiping my messy mouth with a paper towel.

"Oh that's good. So you gonna see him?" He asked while smiling.

"Of course I am!" I said while popping another delicious buffalo chicken in my mouth.

"Alrighty then. Tell him I say hi." He said while laughing and walking out of the kitchen.

"Okay old man!" I shouted while eating another one.

When I see Mason tomorrow, I'm not holding back anymore, I'm going to get to the bottom of what happened to him. I have to know. I just have to know what made him feel like he has to kill himself.
