Chapter Thirty-Two: You're His Recovery Medicine

"Hey girly!" Colby squealed while leaning against the locker that was right next to mine.
It's not Mason's though. His is on my left. But he is currently with Sean and the other football team in the guys locker room.

Yep, Mason gets to play spring football. And even more good news, Ethan got kicked off the team. Apparently Mason and Sean weren't his only victims. Some guy's parents called the dean and complained about their son getting pushed around by his teammate Ethan. And they got pretty mad. Also, Ethan's dad sent him to military school. Last I heard at least.

His cousin Cole, moved to a different state. His mother kicked him out once she found out what he's been doing. So now he lives in Dallas, Texas with his father, and not with his mom and his stepfather across town.

"Hey Colby, why are you so cheery about? Hmm?" I asked with a smirk while putting my completed homework from last night in my locker.
She's been really cheerful lately. And it's pretty scary if you ask me.

Colby has been really supportive of Mason, along with Sean. She even made sure that he gets his monthly visits to her father who happens to be a doctor. Big shocker. He's a chill dad though.

Sean always goes with Mason to the support group. And they go to Buffalo Wild Wings afterwards each time that they go to support group. He's definitely helping Mason.

And Mark, Mason's father is still a jerk to him. He just said some things that day that made Mason get aggravated and angry with his life. That he so badly wanted to take it.

"So, I was wondering if you want to be on the prom committee with me. Come on! It'll be our thing." She said while smiling at me.
I mean, we never really do anything fun together like we used to.

We did so many things together junior year though. We played water polo together. And we were in Italian club together as well. That was our third year taking Italian. It was Italian 3, sadly there was no Italian 4, just AP and honestly, taking an AP foreign language class is pretty hard. Being it's senior year in high school.

"Alright, okay sign us up." I chuckled then closed my locker.
She squealed while giving me a hug and then skipping down the hallway.

I just can't believe that prom is almost here, then before you know it, it's graduation time.

"Hey beautiful." Mason said while wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my cheek.

"Hello handsome. How was the meeting?" I asked.

"It was good. Greyson is going to play football for Ole Miss. He just got committed last week." He said while showing off his smirk.

"Oh wow, Dani isn't going there though." I frowned while closing my locker and facing Mason.

"I know, they'll make it work." He said while kissing my temple.

"I hope so, because they're my second favorite couple." I said while texting Ryan back on my phone.

"Ah, who's your first favorite?" He asked while grinning at me.

"Colby and Sean." I said while smiling at him.

"Why not like us?" He asked while pouting.

"Because, I'm living in a relationship, why would I ship something that I am already in?" I asked while leaning my back against my locker.

"Well I ship us." He said while kissing my lips while wrapping my arms around my waist.

I then wrapped my arms around his neck while he deepened the kiss. Then someone cleared their throat. Mason groaned once we separated.

"Get to class and no PDA." The administrator glared at us then walked his big butt away.

"Cock Blocker." Mason glared back at him then held my hand.

"You're something else." I chuckled.

{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}

"Good luck babe." I said to Mason before we both entered the football field.

We got here a little bit early, because like I said before, he can't drive for a little bit.

"Thanks baby." He said while giving me a lingering kiss.

I then pulled away and placed my hand on his chest while catching my breath then smirking at him.

"You know, if we win tonight, you'll probably earn yourself a treat." I said while batting my eyelashes.

"Oh? And what will it be?" He asked while grinning at me.

"You'll just have to win to find out." I said seductively while trailing my fingers up his hot uniform.

I then started to walk away.

"Tease." He yelled.

I then went on the stands and found a spot right up front. Mason said that for the final game, he's going to kiss me from the railing that separates us from the field. And there are about eight games for spring.

"Hey freak." Colby said while taking a seat next to me.

"Hola weird girl." I laughed while crossing my leg over my other one and texting on my phone.

"Can you believe that it's spring season already? And spring because is next week." She said with a frown.

"I thought you would be excited. I mean the four of us are going to Cancun." I said while nudging her shoulder with my own.

"I know it's just, I'm going to miss my best friend." She said while looking at me trying not to cry.

"Hey hey listen. We have two months to worry about that. Besides two weeks after we come back from break, it's prom. Okay so don't think this is goodbye. Because we still have to finish senior year off strong together." I said while gripping her hand.

"Yeah you're right." She smiled at me then looked back out into the field. She then was smiling even more.

"You bet I am." I smirked while looking at Mason on the field.

He was telling Greyson and Sean a story and they all just laughed along with Mason. This instantly made me smile even more so.

"You're his recovery medicine." Colby said while also having a huge smile on her face.

I like this Mason, he's not paranoid anymore. He doesn't have to so afraid of anyone. He can be himself. I'm just glad to have my boyfriend back and alive at that. I love this guy.

And I will always love him.

He's recovery will be not only good for him, but it'll be good for those who love and care about him as well.  No matter how much he doesn't see it.

Mason Graham Davis, I think that you're going to be alright.

Then the game started.
