Chapter 26-"oh sh*t" Mouthed Luke..

We got into Beau's car. It was about a 15 minute drive away from my house. We both sat in silence but it wasn't awkward at all..Besides I didn't know what so say anyway..

We arrived at the house. It looked like there was about 70-100 people here. I'd say they were between ages 16-20. You could hear the loud music booming from all the open windows. It was a wonder that none of the neighbours had decided to call the police because of the noise.

Beau wrapped his arm around my waist, not wanting to be separated from me. He wanted me in his sight to make sure I was safe, as well as the baby.

We walked through the front door and looked around desperately trying to find the twins.

"Look, over there- on the sofa!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. I think beau could just about hear me over all of the noise.

Beau pushed past numerous people, making a pathway for me to get through. I loved how much he was taking care of me.

We made our way to the sofa and tapped the boy on the back. He looked up to face us. It was Jai.

"Thank god you guys are here...I'm really scared." Said Jai who looked so frightened. I've never seen him like this before. I've always know Jai to be quietly confident and can stay calm in any situation but this time he just looked so distressed. I think it was because he'd never been to a party like this before. He was in a totally different environment- surrounded by alcohol, loud music and I imagine there's some unpleasant people here too.

I released myself from Beaus grip and hugged Jai tightly.

"It's ok we're here now Jai" I told him calmly.

"Jai, where's Luke?" I asked him.

"Uhh I don't know..He was drinking shots or something and then went off somewhere in the house with a group of people..." Replied Jai who was scanning the room full of drunken teenagers.

"Ok I'll search downstairs. Jai, you and Kayla look upstairs." Said Beau who was now also starting to worry about his little brother.

Me and Jai started walking over to the stairs when Beau suddenly grabbed Jai's wrist and said to him

"And whatever you do, don't let Kayla out of your sight. Protect her and the baby. Keep them safe ok?" Beau said sternly to Jai then he looked at me and gave a warming smile. Jai nodded and pulled me close to him and wrapped his arm around my waist. He nodded to Beau and told him to go and search the bottom half of the house.

So me and Jai went up the stairs. Jai first, with me close behind. It was such a huge house. The hallway upstairs was so long, with so many doors. But I would never give up until I found Luke. Jai banged on the first door on the left and started twisting the door knob frantically trying to open it. He managed to do so but the room was empty. It was just a small bathroom. So we tried the next door. We got it open within seconds but walked in on a couple making out passionately on the bed...

"Oi excuse me; who do you think you are? Walking in on people is rude! Piss off!" Shouted the rude girl in the room. The boy she was with stuck his middle finger up at us. We immediately left and closed the door behind us.

"Charming.." I said sarcastically to Jai.

Jai rolled his eyes "Come on, lets keep looking".

We got to the next door which happened to be shut but not locked. Jai twisted the door knob to the left then to the right. He swung the door wide open. We had disturbed yet another couple but this time, these two people were in bed...under the covers..doing god knows what..

Suddenly a blonde headed girl poked her face out from under the covers.

"Hey do you mind? I'm kind of busy here!"

"We'll don't let me stop you" I quickly replied. We were about to leave the room when jai noticed a familiar shirt laying on the floor.

"Hey...That belongs to Luke....." Said Jai. He walked over to the bed and without carving what he would find under there, he ripped the duvet off of the bed. Under it laid two naked teenagers- the blonde girl and.....Luke.

"Heyyy what the fuck do you think you-" said Luke who's words were slurred obviously because he was so drunk.

"Me?! Dude, what are YOU doing?!" Shouted an angry Jai.

Luke looked up at him then realised that I was standing by the door.

"Oh shit..." I saw Luke mouth to himself.

"I think we better go.." Concluded Jai.

"Luke get some bloody clothes on and you, girl, get lost." I shouted at them both, trying desperately fight back my tears. I felt so hurt, so cheated. I couldn't believe he would do this to me.

While Luke was getting dressed with the help of Jai, I suddenly had to run out of the room. I barged through people crying my eyes out. I could barely see a thing until I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Oh..gosh..I'm really...sorry.." My sniffs and moans were interrupting my speech...

I looked up at this rather tall figure. Luckily the person I had bumped into was Beau.

"Oh Beau!! Something...something horrible has happened..."

"What?! What do you mean? Are you ok? Did someone hurt you?!" Asked Beau as he pulled me tightly into his chest, wrapping his arms around me so that I felt safe and protected.

"It's Luke....we found him but...but...He was sleeping with some blonde girl..!"

"Are you serious?! What the bloody hell is he doing in bed with another woman?! Oh my god Kayla I'm so sorry..."

"It's not your fault..."

Then Beau spotted Jai coming down the stairs with Luke gripping onto him tightly, I suppose so that he wouldn't fall down the stairs.

"You've got a lot of fucking explaining to do Luke. But let's worry about that when we're home. Come on, lets go." Said Beau as he held my hand tightly and helped me through the crowd of people.

We all got into Beau's car. I sat in the back along with Jai. He placed his hand on mine, trying to quietly comfort me. No one spoke a word the whole way back.
