"Delusion is one hell of a drug." - Unknown.
Viper PoV:
I was sitting down, resting. The most I had gotten in a while. Shortly after I had sat, my phone rang.
Can't a fucker get some rest?
"Yep?" I said as I put my phone to speaker.
I noticed a crying sound from the speaker. Only then did I check the speaker; my dad, crying, something I had never heard before.
"Dad?" I said, more sternly than I wished. Maybe that part of me that hated hearing my father figure cry had come back to life for this moment.
Ethan: "Johnathan?"
"I'm here, I'm here," I assured him.
Ethan: "Your mother... They're probably going to have to amputate. The blast blew directly into her left arm and leg. The shrapnel..." I listened closely until he stopped talking, and hit my knee with my hand. Why wasn't I cryin'? Strange.
The door opened as Mozzie came in.
Mozzie: "Yo. He tal-" He stopped when he noticed I was in the middle of a conversation. "Oh Shit..." I nodded and gestured for him to stay.
"Hey, Dad. Military shit came up. I gotta go."
Ethan: "Love you."
"Love ya' too, Dad." I hung up and held my head in my hands with a long sigh. "Yep. What happened, Mozz?" He was silent for a while.
Mozzie: "Uhm- The uh- The guy you captured. He told us where and who his boss is and where he was gonna be headed." He gestured towards the door, probably towards the interrogation room.
"Alright. Let's get briefed, yeah?"

Red PoV:
"They're in there?" I asked the ghillie scout I was sitting with.
Scout: "Ye'h. And we figured out what th'uy had und'r that t'rp. A nuke. Ours." His failure to pronounce some words bugged me, and I couldn't make out what he said at the end, but it didn't matter much.
"Four hostiles, right?"
Scout: "Two came out to welcome me th'm. Prob'y have more host'les inside." He muttered, but clear enough for me to understand.
"How many entrances?"
Scout: "Dezel s'w two ov'r p'st this one half-a-click out." He informed me. I resolved that we would set claymores and agents at them to capture or kill the runners.
"Want some water? We're here now, so go head and drink while the gunfire hasn't started."
Scout: "Not th'sty, s'r." I nodded and smiled under my mask. I liked his answer.
"Alright. Reckon the other guys have view of the entrances?"
Scout: "Y'p. Th'y should be ov'r by the entrances; I'll t'll 'em to hold the'r f're."
"Good. Get ready to shoot the runners. Try to hit them nonlethally, drives more kills." I said. Walking towards the "backup", I ordered two groups of nine to go and set claymores and hold the two entrances.
"All set?" I asked the leaders over the comms.
AL1: "Set."
A minute passed.
AL2: "Charges set."
And then, boom.
"Go, go, go!" I screamed, and we ran as fast as we could to the now-exploded bunker door. We broke into three once we reached a fork. Gunfire rank throughout the building as my group made considerable progress through the building. We made it to a large room holding multiple hostiles. Some were caught off guard, leading to easy kills. A fragmentation grenade helped in the elimination of the hostiles. Entering, we made sure the bodies were dead.
