Seonghwa:

"San, where is the salt?" I asked my brother.

"Top drawer on the left," San replied.

We were preparing for a hunt. We managed to track down a vampire on a murder spree. That bloodsucker was killing around the University of Arts. At first, the bastard was hiding well, but recently he became sloppy. If not for that hiding, we could catch him earlier and prevent several deaths. But it wasn't so simple. That beast was first spotted in the woods, attacking elderly hikers, but recently, he had moved to the city. His most recent hunting field was the University of Arts. And we managed to calculate the approximate time of his feeding. At least, vampires were systematic and followed a tight schedule, when it came to feeding.

We prepared everything needed for a vampire hunt. We prepared salt, talismans and the most crucial part, silver-coated blades. That made our load heavier. However, that was something we were used to it. In our field, we hunted every supernatural creature who dared to harm and kill humans. And that vampire was no exception.

"Ready to go?" San asked me. I nodded.

...

We arrived at the university around 23:30(11:30 pm). Tonight was warm, and no clouds were blocking the moonlight. Even if the light wasn't much, it was enough for us to operate better. Vampires had better night vision. All of the available light was welcome to us.

Walking to the main building, we immediately smelled the scent of a vampire. That creature had a distinguishing scent of dead roses and grave soil. It was sweet yet earthy. We followed it. It was coming from the rooftop. On our way there, we blocked all ways out with a line of salt. We couldn't let that monster escape. We stayed quiet, walking silently and fast.

On the rooftop, we saw him. But it was too late. That vampire was already sucking out the life of his victim. We were late. The only thing we could do now was to kill him and prevent more victims from being slaughtered.

We took our positions and cut the distance. The vampire was in short delirium due to the fresh blood he drank. We used it in our favour and walked in a round motion around him, marking the ground with some salt. We were almost done with the salt trap when the vampire attacked San. My brother noticed him and quickly pulled out his weapon. San was holding up, giving me enough time to close the trap. Once I did it, I joined my brother. We fought that monster. That wasn't easy. The bastard got stronger after eating. We had to be more cautious.

Dammit! The bloodsucker was too fast. He could dodge all of our attacks, but we barely escaped his. At some point, he scratched San's arm and ruby blood dripped to the ground. That was my chance. The smell of blood distracted him. I ran towards him and pushed him down, slipping my blade over his neck. His flesh hissed as if burning, and the wound didn't close. San didn't waste any time and chopped his head off with his sword.

"Hyung, I need a drink," San smiled at me.

We were splashed in nasty black blood, tired and breathing heavily. Yet, he was smiling. I couldn't hold back but to return his smile. I nodded to his suggestion. Getting up, I noticed a dark figure over the victim's body. San followed my gaze. He was it too. I made a gesture to stay put. However, my brother didn't listen and went to the Grim Reaper, holding his knife up. Moron.

"San, put the knife down. Reapers aren't our enemy," I told him, following close by.

"Listen to him, hottie. I'm here to lead this soul to the afterlife," the reaper responded. Only then, did San put down his blade.

The reaper finally turned our way. He was similar in height to the one I met before, but they looked nothing alike. This one was half-naked, his suit was missing his shirt and vest, leaving him bare-chested. Not to mention, the smile he had. The reaper I met was cold, collected and quiet. This one? Loud and flirty with my brother. It was somehow unprofessional. But I left them be since San was flirting back.

As they were flirting with each other, I went to collect the vampire. That monster wouldn't put itself in the corpse bag. We could use the vampire dust to strengthen our blades. All types of monster dust were useful in blade making. And different monsters gave different qualities to our blades.

"San, time to go," I called my brother. He didn't pay me any attention. "Choi San, go!" I had to raise my voice.

This time, my brother heard me. But before leaving, he and the reaper exchanged numbers. San was such a flirt. Even grim reapers weren't safe from him hitting on them. Even tho, this one was equally flirty to my brother.

On our way back, I had to give him an earful of why we shouldn't mess with reapers. They were not humans, even if they looked like us. They are immortals who shouldn't mess with us mortals unless it is for their job. The story knew enough stories of humans and reapers that didn't go well. In such a relationship, there was no future and a happy ending. But my brother's head was way too thick to listen. In this case, he was thinking only with his lower head.

...

Back at home, Jongho met us by the door. The moment he saw us, he raised his hand to stop us. We already knew the drill. Yet, he still followed every step of ours. So we did what was necessary. We went to the backyard, leaving the body in our special cage. Then we took off our clothes and washed ourselves in the outdoor bathroom. Otherwise, our younger brother wouldn't allow us inside.

Hongjoong:

Wooyoung was running late. What took him so long to collect one single soul for the whole night? It was no more than 10 minutes job. But he was gone for an hour now. Ah, that child was most likely playing around with mortals once again. Honestly, if he wasn't assigned as my roommate, I wouldn't even care. But we were living together. And I was his supervisor.

"I'm homeeee," Wooyoung yelled.

"Finally!" I rolled my eyes. "Were you messing up with humans again?"

"Not just a human, I met a pair of hunters!" Woo chirped excitedly.

"That's even worse," I commented.

"But, hyung, he's such a hottie," Woo argued. "And he has a hottie brother. The brother looks like the guy you described."

"Not interested. Go eat, wash and sleep."

"So stingy!" My little brother wined before leaving me alone.
