Jongho:

I woke up feeling as if dying. I could feel the cold sweat covering my body. And something warm over my forehead. I opened my eyes, looking to my side. There was sitting a young man, he appeared around my age. He was pale and tired. I had no idea where I was or who this man was. My survival instincts kicked in. The unknown man smiled at me. His tired smile made me calm down somehow.

"You are alive," he spoke in a tired voice. I could hear the release in it. "Yunho!" The man called before passing out.

Another unknown man walked in. I guess, his name was Yunho. He looked at me and showed an expression. I could only describe it as a doctor who saw his patient survive. Soon, I found out I was right about that. Yunho did a medical check-up on me. He flashed that annoying light in my eyes. Checked my temperature and my heart rate. As I observed him, I couldn't hold back but compare him to a golden retriever. When he finished with me, Yunho picked that guy up and placed him on the other side of the bed.

"First, let me introduce myself. I'm Jung Yunho, one of your doctors. You were brought here by Yeosang," Doctor Jung said, pointing to the passed-out boy.

Doctor Jung explained everything that happened while I was passed out. They had contacted my brothers. San even donated blood to help me. Yunho and his husband, took care of me most of the time since they were licenced doctors. I had some questions about the supernatural side of the matter. Doctor Jung smiled shyly before answering my questions. He explained that he used to be a grim reaper, now a mortal. Yeosang, the sleeping beauty beside me, was an active reaper, and they knew San's new flirt. All of it made my head hurt. We decided to leave things like that. Yunho then offered me some food and water.

As I ate, he explained that I shouldn't move my injured arm. The doctor strictly banned me from physical work. That meant I could cast more blades for my brothers, for the time being. We spoke some more about different things while I was eating. When I finished eating, he gave me my phone. I took it and sent a short message to my brothers. It was still early in the morning. I knew they would come to visit me later.

San:

I woke up in Wooyoung's bed. We had spent the night night together. Being with him helped me release my built-up anger. I looked down at him. Woo was sleeping in my arms. I observe his pale body covered in my marks. This view gave me a feeling of satisfaction. I stroked his soft, messy hair. Then, I reached out for my phone. I wanted to check for any news about my little brother. The moment I looked at the screen, I wanted to jump. There was a text from Jongho. He was awake. I knew my little brother was a fighter. One way or another.

I had to go see him. So I slipped out of bed and went to take a quick shower. Wooyoung wouldn't mind if I borrowed his shower. Halfway into my shower, I heard Wooyoung coming in. He was still sleepy. I could tell. Woo hugged me from behind, kissing my neck.

"Babe, why did you leave me?" Woo asked in a sweet voice.

"Sorry. I got a message from Jongho. Let's go visit later," I told him.

"That's nice! Let's go."

Seonghwa:

The night was longer than any other. I couldn't just go to sleep. Not with a grim reaper in my home. That was why I decided to research some troublemakers in the city. I sat in the living room with my laptop, reading many leads about supernatural creatures hunting down people in our area. There were many leads, but I had to sort out which were actual leads, and which were fakes. Meanwhile, I had a reaper sitting on the other end of our sofa. He held something that looked like a mixture of a scroll and a tablet. Both of us had the same idea, huh? I tried to ignore that man as much as possible. It wasn't so hard. We stayed in silence. The only sound around us was me typing on the keyboard.

After some time, I decided to make myself a cup of coffee. As I was making it, I thought about the reaper. It would be rude, of me not to offer some. So I looked at him.

"Hey, you, want some coffee?" I asked him.

"Sure, two spoons of sugar, please. And my name is Kim Hongjoong," he said.

I finished making us coffee and returned to the living room. Hongjoong took him and drank some. While I was in the kitchen, he had managed to change clothes. How convenient to snap with fingers and change clothes. But something bothered me. I recognized those clothes. They were mine.

"Why are you wearing my clothes?" I asked.

"My range is limited," Kim Hongjoong answered.

I rolled my eyes before returning my attention to work. Kim Hongjoong did the same. But back in my mind was one thought. And it kept bothering me. I had to ask and get an answer.

"Kim Hongjoong, why did you take my blood earlier?" I asked him. The Grim Reaper wasn't surprised by my question. His face remained the same cold mask it was until now.

"To look for your missing shadow," Kim Hongjoong answered me.

"You are wasting your time. I don't need a shadow to survive," I told him, slightly irritated.

Kim Hongjoong rolled his. He returned to the scroll in his hands and ignored me. I did the same. Those things are such a pain in the a. I couldn't understand why they kept getting involved with my family. I could understand San and Jongho. One of them was a slut, the other one almost died. But me? What did I do? And why was this grim reaper staying with me tonight? I did try to fight him, because of that girl, but other than that, there was nothing else.

Hongjoong:

Damn you, Wooyoung, and your hookup. Because of you, I couldn't go home and had to stay somewhere else. Not to mention, it wasn't the time to stay at Yunho's due to his patient. I had no choice but to find another place after I finished work. While doing my task, I met that shadowless hunter. One look at him, and I could say he was unstable, at the moment. He even attempted to fight me. It was a bad idea to leave him alone. And thanks to my little brother, I knew their house was empty. That was where I was going to spend the night.

Over at their place, I changed into some of his clothes, and he made me coffee. He wasn't the most friendly host. Yet, I didn't mind having some quiet time. I could concentrate on my work and do it efficiently. It was much better than doing it at home.

Some time passed, not sure how much, and I noticed the soft breathing of my host. He fell asleep. As expected from a mortal who went berserk on a bunch of goblins. I was tired after collecting a dozen souls of brutally murdered humans. I stood up and went to that human. I believe his name was Seonghwa. I took Seonghwa's laptop and put it aside. Then I tried to lift him. He was heavy, and I had to use my powers to gain more strength. That way, I could easily carry him to his bedroom.

I placed Seonghwa on his bed and tucked him. His face has a troubled expression on it. It wasn't my problem to deal with. As I turned to leave, my hand, was held back. Seonghwa had grabbed me in his sleep. A single blink later, he pulled me. I fell on the bed and got trapped in his arms. What was I to this human?! A stuffed toy?! He held me so tight I couldn't move at all. And I was too exhausted to use my powers and escape. I had no choice but to rest in this suffocating embarrassment.

...

I woke up to a wet sensation on my forehead. I tried to look up. That guy dared to sleep with his filthy lips pressed against my skin. I tried to get away from him. Seonghwa didn't budge. I had to wake him up. The movement did work.

"Wake up and let go of me!" I raised my voice at him.

That worked. Seonghwa woke up in confusion. Even if he was awake, he was still holding onto me. I pushed once again. This time, it worked, and I freed myself. The hunter looked at me in confusion, then anger. I was the one meant to be angry. I had to spend the night away from my house, deal with an unstable mortal and end up as his stuffed toy. Those damn mortals.

"Why are you in my bed?" Seonghwa asked me.

"You fell asleep, and I carried you here. Then you took me for your huggy toy and wouldn't let go," I told him, ready to yell.

Seonghwa didn't say anything. Instead, he looked at his phone. I had no idea what he saw there, but it made him jump. I observed him as he ran around, getting ready to go somewhere. In a couple of minutes, he was ready to leave. But before that, he looked at me and told me to follow. I did. Thanks to that stupidity of mine, I ended up at Yuyu's place.
