No one's POV:
Alex remembers this one coffee shot that her father used to take her all of the time when she was a little kid, and if she and Dr. Huang were childhood best friends, then he would've loved it.
It was the next day, the children were at school, the adults were at work, and Alex had parked her car at the block where Dr. Huang lived. After watching Rachel go inside the school bus and she was sent off to school, then, Alex got ready for the day, then she went over to her best friend's home, Dr. Huang's home.
After arriving and coming and walking over at the front door, she knocked immediately after, and she heard Mr. Snickerdoodle's barking on the other side of the door, then she saw Dr. Huang coming walking over, and once he saw his best friend, the psychiatrist smiled sweetly, and he opened the door.
Alex smiled back.
"Ready to hang out?" Alex asked with a smile.
A smile grew on the psychiatrist's face.
"Ready." Dr. Huang replied with a smile. Then Genevieve came walking over with a smile, and she gently pecked her brother's cheek.
"Have a good time. The kids will be just fine." Genevieve explained with a smile.
Dr. Huang chuckled softly.
"You're making it sound like we're married?" George teased with a smile.
Genevieve let out a playful, soft scoff as she crossed her arms.
"Don't be ridiculous, darling. We are obviously brother and sister. Anyone thinking otherwise has lost their minds." Genevieve explained, making Dr. Huang chuckle softly, and Alex smiled.
Both George and Genevieve really do have a strong sibling bond together, and not only does she see George as a best friend but also as a brother, too. She remembers being an only child who always wanted siblings to play with or help take care of, but for as long as she can remember, it was just herself and her father.
"Have fun, you two," Genevieve said sweetly. But before the two best friends left, the twins, Cooper and Luna, came running over and hugged their daddy.
