Hanna did a great job

Jake returned home after that and saw that one boy was reading in living room while another one was playing with his mobile. He went to that boy who was reading and sat beside him. Seeing him that boy smiled a little and again focused on his copy. While Jake softly patted his head and asked,
Jake: How are your studies going on Brett?
Brett: It is going very well sir, and this time I have also participated in the annual days.
Jake: Not again Brett. You know I don't like to hear Sir from you. Call me bro like Josh.
Brett smiled a little and said,
Brett: Gimme some time, but I promise one day I'll fulfill your wish.
Jake: Okay, then call me J like others. But not sir. I am not that oldy. Our age difference is only 7 years, right?? And I was thinking that I should enroll you for graduation in the same university where Josh is studying.
Brett: Okay, as your wish.
Jake: Okay, now take this.
He gave him lots of chocolates but Brett refused and said,
Brett: No I don't want this. Can I have some churros with banana pudding, that too made by you?
Jake:Yeah, why not. And Josh how are your studies going, do you want good results in graduation or not?
Jodh:Oh,Yaah. Bro don't worry I'll for sure.
Jake: Okay, enjoy your time guys, I'm going to change my clothes and then make churros for you both.
Brett/Josh: Yes bro/J.
At night, Jake was standing on his balcony thinking something, he was thinking about Hanna only. How could that girl risk her life to help a random family? How could someone be so selfless, she didn't hesitate even once? He was thinking like this when a call came in his mobile from an unknown number. He received the call and was about to say something when a voice came from that side.
??: I wanna talk to you right now, may I?
Jake: Now? I mean it's already 11pm.
??: I need to talk about something urgent please.
Jake: Okay, I'm coming.
After that Jake left from there.
It's already midnight and Jake came to a night Cafe where someone was waiting for him at a corner table. He went to that table and asked,
Jake: Let's have coffee miss Hanna.The coffee here is the best.
Hanna: No, I'm alright. Please have a seat.
Jake: Sure, but please just a coffee nothing more.
Hanna nodded her head slowly. There was an awkward silence between them for some time and no one dared to start a conversation. Jake was just trying to control himself, because at that time he could hear every beat of his heart. Then the waiter gave both of them their coffee.
Waiter: Something else Sir??
Jake: No, no. Thank you.
Waiter: Thank you Sir, enjoy your coffee.
Then he left from there, and Jake gestured Hanna to take a sip of the coffee. After some time he broke the silence and asked,
Jake: May I know why you called me here?? Is everything okay?
Hanna:See, Mr.detective I got some information about them.
Jake: What kind of information?
Hanna: I have found out where both of them have kept uncle's daughter.
Jake: And how??
Hanna: At the flower shop where I usually work, some people came to order a wedding bouquet, and luckily I got the order. At first they seemed strange to me, but when I asked where the order would be delivered, they hurriedly said that they would come themselves and take it. They gave a number and said that when the work is finished, call this number and let them know. But then I gave that number to a friend of mine who tracked the number and told me that it was someone Joseph's number and the location was shown near an airport. And guess what? Uncle has a son named Joseph Smith.
Jake: okay, then?
Hanna: Then, me and a friend of mine followed them and then we saw that he was actually uncle's son.
Jake: Is what I'm thinking true?
Jake asked anxiously.
Hanna nodded slowly while closing her eyes tightly and said,
Hanna: Yes, you're right. We went inside secretly and saw that both of them were forcing their own sister to marry them.
Jake: Then?
Hanna: Then my friend distracted them and I took advantage of the opportunity and brought his daughter with me.
Jake: WHAT??
Jake yelled at her and there were not many people but everyone present there started looking at him. Jake bowed his head and apologized to everyone and looked at Hanna angrily. But instead of getting scared, Hanna looked into Jake's eyes and said,
Hanna: Am I ready for this mission now?
Jake's angry gaze soon turned into surprise, looked at Hanna and thought:
( How can a person take such a big risk without thinking twice and that too for a stranger? Are you really a human being or an angel? )
He was thinking like this when Hanna waved her hands infront of him and asked,
Hanna: Tell me Mr.detective.
Jake: Aren't you scared? Anything can happen to you in this mission.
Hanna:If I was afraid I wouldn't be here in front of you.
Jake: But where's that girl whom you rescued?
Hanna: She's with me at my house. No one will suspect this and will not even know. So, Now am I the finalist for this mission or do you still doubt me?
Jake: But, why are you so desperate for this mission?
Hanna: Because if something happens to me tomorrow, I can die peacefully.
Hearing this, Jake's heart started beating loudly. He didn't understand what to say next. After so many days he found someone who was as passionate about duty as he was. He couldn't ignore this passion, so after thinking for some time he said,
Jake: Okay, miss Hanna, the mission is on.
Came to my office tomorrow, I'll tell you what to do next.
Hanna: Sure, Mr.detective.
Jake: Let me drop you at your home. Let's go.
Hanna: No,it's okay. I'll manage.
Jake: Please miss Hanna, you're already helping me in my work. So, let me payback.
Hanna: Okay, let's go.
Jake dropped Hanna off in front of her house, her house was a normal apartment. Hanna didn't want to invite him over, but then she thought Jake should meet that girl(mr. Smith's daughter). So,she hesitantly invited him. Both entered in her house Hanna took him to the living room where a girl was sitting while hiding her face in her knees. she called her softly,
Hanna: Jenny, look I'm here.
The girl slowly looked up and immediately hugged Hanna and started crying. Hanna slowly patted her back and said,
Hanna: Don't worry my girl. I'm here with you. Now look who's here to meet you. See
She didn't even look at him and said,
Jenny: No Hanna, I don't wanna meet anyone.
Hanna looked at Jake who gave him an "it's okay" gesture by blinking eyelids, then Hanna said,
Hanna: But you should meet him once. Because he's the one who'll help you and your parents.
After some time she calmed down a bit and looked at him who gave a soft smile to her. The Jake asked,
Jake: Are you fine now?? Can we talk for some time.
She nodded her head slowly then all of them sat there for to talk.
Hanna: So, Mr. Detective. She's Jenny, I mean Jennifer Smith. Uncle Smith's daughter. And Jenny he's Mr.detective I mean, ahhh I just so sorry. I just forgot to ask you your name.
Jake chuckled at her cuteness and said,
Jake: Hello miss Jennifer I'm Jake, Jake Toner.
Hanna: Yaah, Jake Toner, sorry.
She mumbled the sorry looking towards Jake who smiled a little. But after listening his full name from her mouth Jake was feeling butterflies in his tummy. After that he maintained a straight face and asked to Jenny,
Jake: So, can we talk about your past? Are you comfortable to talk with us?
Jenny nodded slowly and said,
They talk for sometimes then Jake left for home.
