Cold breeze meet Carl as he stepped out of the plane. The familiar structures of Chicago airport that were irritating to him in the past now seem to give warmth to his heart. He doesn't understand why now, it felt good to be back.

He collected his thoughts and fished out his phone and called the first name in his call logs.

"We just arrived," he spoke casually as he glanced at his companions who were following behind.

"Good. Tim is already there. You can call him," Dorothy replied from the other line.

"Tim? Why him?" he frowned.

"Carl, he's the best assistant you can have. He had proven his loyalty to your father, besides, he needed work and he said he cannot break the pledge he did before to your father. He will only work under the Andersons. If you won't accept him, he will not go to work for someone else, and he has a family to feed."

He sighed. As much as he didn't want to be with someone close to his father, it seems that he doesn't have a choice.

"Fine," he sighed then ended the call.

"Carl, Grandma needs to go to the toilet," Laura spoke gently after she sidled beside him. He was now used to hearing his name from the secretary.

He stopped and looked at his grandmother who only smiled slightly in her wheelchair.

"I'll go with them," Laura added.

"Okay, I'll wait over there," he gestured at the pile of chairs near the exit.

Laura nodded with a smile then turned to accompany the old woman and Mina, the caregiver.

Carl walked over and was about to sit down when a name caught his attention.

"Alexis Carter, that's her name."

He turned and looked toward where it came from and saw a lady in front of the security guard.

"Okay? But why not just call her?" the guard asked with a frown.

"Sir, I've been calling her a million times already but she's not answering. The last thing she told me over the phone was that she was coming and will arrive after five minutes. Five minutes, Sir, but look it's more than an hour now and still she's not here," the lady rattled with obvious anxiousness and it make Carl frown.

"It's worrying me that something happened to her," the lady added.

He can't help his feet from moving towards them.

"Okay, I get it. You want me to tell her if she comes, that you went to EDA to find her and that she'll call you, correct?" the guard spoke, his hands moved alonh with his words.

"Yes. Thank you," the lady replied just as he arrived by them.

"Excuse me," Carl spoke. "Did you say Alexis Carter?" he asked the young lady.

She turned to face him and he immediately saw some similarities she had with Alexis.

"Yes, Sir. Do you know her?" she asked with raised brows, her green eyes filled with anxiousness.

"I'm the president of EDA, Carl Anderson," he extended his hand formally.

The lady's eyes widened also her mouth, but she quickly composed herself and accepted the handshake.
"Adrielle, Alexis' sister," she spoke with a smile.

Carl nodded.

"Mr. Anderson, I guess you can help her out?" the guard asked beside them.

"Yes," he replied then fished out his phone.
