Kyle lets out a tired sigh. It's finally lunchtime on Friday, and he is counting down the minutes for the weekend to start. It's been one exhausting week. He has had three big tests on Monday. He missed his alarm and was late to school yesterday, and now today, Cartman has managed to get all four boys detention after school. On top of all that, basketball started this week, meaning he has practice after school for four hours Monday through Thursday.
To say Kyle is exhausted is an understatement. He is ready to go home and hang out with his girlfriend. He hasn't been able to see her outside of school in almost a week. He is craving her physical affection.
And Cartman getting him detention means he gets even less of it.
Kyle opens his locker to be met with a surprising sight. A brown paper bag is sat on the shelf, a blue sticky note stuck to it. He quickly puts his things in his locker, then carefully grabs the bag, reading the corny pick-up line sprawled on the sticky note.
Even if there was no gravity on Earth, I'd still fall for you. <3
Kyle's heart nearly jumps out of his chest. It's beating so fast. His girlfriend somehow got into his locker -Stan probably gave her the combination, lets be real- to drop off lunch for him. They have been dating for almost two weeks now, and he already knows he loves her. He's just waiting for the right time to tell her. He doesn't want to move too fast and rush things.
Well, anymore than they already did while drunk.
Kyle smiles as he puts the sticky note on the inside of his locker door at eye level. He can now see it every time he opens his locker. This made his week a whole lot better.
He mutters under his breath, "She's so cute, it's unreal."
"Who's so cute?"
Kyle jumps in shock, turning to see his friends behind him. "Fuck, you scared me."
Kenny sends Kyle a sharp glare. He is 90% sure he knows who Kyle is talking about, but he can't figure out what she did that was considered 'cute'.
Cartman spots the bagged lunch in Kyle's hand. "Aw. Did mommy make you lunch?"
Kyle slams his locker shut, walking towards the cafeteria. "No! My mom didn't make my lunch. And I thought I told you not to talk to me."
Kenny's eyes widen. Did Y/n make Kyle a lunch, too? That's supposed to be his special thing with her.
"Kahl, I said I was sorry," Cartman whines, throwing his hands in the air.
"Fuck off."
Stan smirks, spotting the red tint on his best friends cheeks as Kyle passes him. He quickly falls into step with Kyle, whispering, "She practically begged me for your locker combo. Hope you don't mind."
Kyle flashes Stan a quick smile. "Yeah, dude. I don't mind. It was a nice surprise."
"Good. She loves making food. So be prepared to be spoiled," Stan chuckles, warning his best friend.
"I think I can get on board with that."
They sit at their lunch table, leaving room between the two for when Y/n decides to show up.
"Did you two break up? Why are you sitting so far apart?" Cartman interrogates the two best friends when he sits down with his lunch tray.
Before either Stan or Kyle can answer, Y/n plops into the spot between her brother and her favorite boy. "Hey guys!"
Cartman rolls his eyes, his questions answered themselves. "Never mind. I didn't realize the bitch was sitting with us again. I thought this was the guys table?"
