[ fünf ]

The days went by rather slowly for Primrose, as it tends to happen when one is excited about something, but soon enough it was time for her to get on the plane to go to Germany. The foundation had the plane tickets, as well as transportation and housing settled for the Bennett family.

In Germany, Bastian was just as nervous, and his team mates certainly noticed.

He walked into the locker room that day, looking absent minded, and doing something he never did, he was biting his nails. He wore his t-shirt inside out, the zipper on his jacket was busted, his socks were mismatched, and he was even wearing each shoe on the wrong foot. In addition to all of those things, it looked like he had brought the wrong training bag with him. Thomas was surprised his team mate had even made it to the training ground without a problem, since it seemed he was too distracted to even dress himself properly.

"Was it Let a Child Dress You day?" Thomas asked jokingly.

Having overheard them, Philipp spoke up, "Let a Child Dress You Day? Why did no one tell me of this?" The captain ot the team look genuinely upset when he thought he was left out of some fun team activity.

Bastian was snapped out of his thoughts. "What?" He asked, he hadn't really paid attention to them.

"I said, what happened to you?" Thomas asked. "You look like a blind person dressed you."

"Now we're supposed to be getting dressed by blind people?" Philipp asked, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "I thought a child was dressing us today?"

With a shake of his head, Bastian said, "Neither a blind person nor a child dressed me. I dressed myself, just like I do everyday. What is wrong with you guys?" His blue-grey eyes stared at his team mates as though they were delusional. He hadn't noticed the way he was dressed yet.

"You need to see how ridiculous you look." Thomas said, trying his best to stifle a laugh. Instead of pulling out a mirror, as any good friend would do, he got his cellphone out and snapped a picture of Bastian. Then, instead of showing Bastian the picture, so as to spare him a moment of embarrassment, he directly posted it on twitter and tagged his team mate for everyone to see.

The notification on Bastian's cellphone made it ring and he got it out of his pocket. He opened up the twitter up and immediately a picture of his current state popped up.

His expression completely dropped at the sight of the picture. "I can't believe I've been walking around the training ground like this."

"So there is no special father-son holiday thing I should be worried about?" Philipp asked his two friends.

Thomas shook his head. "There isn't. But if one comes up, I'll let you know."

"Thanks." Philipp sighed in relief and walked off to meet up with the rest of the players on the field.

Bastian let out a nervous breath and plopped himself down on the bench in front of his locker. Lucky for him, he always kept a spare training uniform in case he may needed. He really learned his lesson when Thomas brought a stray cat to practice that he had found. When Bastian had been carrying it, the ungrateful animal (as he saw it), urinated on him.

"Are you going to tell me what's wrong?" Thomas pried.

The blonde haired German decided to speak. Even if he decided to keep it to himself, he knew Thomas wouldn't rest until knowing. He wanted to save himself the trouble of having Thomas following him arround all day, shouting questions into his ear.

"Primrose should be here tomorrow." Bastian finally said after a small pause.

"That's what worries you?" Thomas laughed. By the looks of Bastian, he thought it was something far more serious. "You're intimidated by a girl who's dying wish is to meet you?"

At that, Bastian shook his head. "Not intimidated."

"Then what?" His friend challenged.

"I'm just worried that she might not think I'm so great when she finally meets me and gets disappointed." He explained. These were things that had been in his mind since he found out Primrose going to see him was a done deal. "She probably only knows me from watching matches on tv. And that's the thing when one has an idol. When you see them on tv, they look perfect, as though the could do nothing wrong. Some people get these notions in their head about how a person might be, and when they meet, they find out they were completely wrong. They don't really know us. And I don't want the real me to be completely different than what she expected."

Thomas scoffed. "You're so dramatic."

"I'm serious." Bastian insisted.

"Its the girl's last wish to meet you." His friend reminded him, "I think she'll be thrilled whether you're the way she imagined or not."

"But I want it to be special because its her last wish."

Once on the plane, Primrose fumbled with her fingers nervously. Her mother was sat beside her, fast asleep. But Primrose couldn't. The excitement was too much for her to even conceive the notion of sleeping. By her other side, her best friend was awake as well.

"I'm so nervous." Primrose confessed.

"Why?" Elise wondered.

"What if Bastian doesn't like me?" She asked, biting her lip. "I don't want to sound creepy or clingy or anything. I just admire him so much."

Elise patted her best friend on the shoulder reassuringly. "I'm sure he'll love you. You're so damn lovable."

And the two girls spent the next fifteen hours of their flight, trying to pass the time with conversation.
