"So what happened?" Instead, Hyunjin bought me ice cream to stop me from crying.
I didn't cry, I almost did.
I feel safe with Hyunjin and Sean, nobody else. I just... I can't trust people the same.
"I don't know Jinnie. I think I just got embarrassed and was too scared to run away and then I started making myself panic and then Aisha sat next to me and it made me uncomfortable and.. and..."
I was trying to catch my breath and Hyunjin gave me a warm hug. "It's alright." I breathed out and melted into the hug.
He pulled away and flipped on my hoodie. "You're still recovering from some stuff." I laughed, "Stuff. You mean my dad disowning me because I wanted to be a dancer? Because I didn't wanna keep funding his drinking addiction. Because my mother wouldn't take me in after my dad laid hands on me because she didn't want a 'train wreck'. Stuff."
Hyunjin and I walked back to the car and he closed the door.
"I think you're doing just fine. People make you nervous. You don't know anyone's true colors. That's a natural reaction. Honestly, I don't know how you got so strong in this little month you've been here. You've recovered just fine. I flew you out here for a reason." I nodded quieting down.
Hyunjin asked, "Does Minho make you that nervous? He's actually the biggest sweetheart to mankind." I rolled my eyes, "I already feel bad about Felix..."
He laughed, "He understands. He knows he scared the shit out of you." I covered my face in regret, "Ugh! I didn't mean to shove him that hard. I freaked out."
Hyunjin laughed, "He'll be okay!"
He drove me home and I walked into the place I called home. I settled into my covers and lay down.

The next day I walked into the practice room to see Lee Know being noticeably more reluctant to speak around me. He seemed to be quieter. It was like this for two more practices after that.
But one day, I was off work and itching to dance. I still had to go over the details of the choreography.
I walked into the practice room to see Lee Know standing in the mirror learning his dance. I was silent as I turned back around to exit.
"You already came all the way here. I'll leave." I said, "Wha-huh? Why?"
He walked toward me rubbing his forehead with a towel, "I should be asking you why. Why are you so quiet? It's bothering me." I furrowed my eyebrows at how soft-spoken he talked to me. I crossed my arms, "What?"
I may haven't shown it, but when he spoke to me, my heart quickened. I felt my hands go sweaty, and my head ached. He was making me nervous.
It wasn't that bad since it was only us two. He asked again, "Why do you get so quiet when I'm around?" I corrected, "I'm a quiet person in general."
Lee Know furrowed his eyebrows while inspecting my face. "You scared of me? Hyunjin lectured me about how I need to approach you differently and stuff. So what did I do to you that made you run to Hyunjin."
