Sean was driving to his house. I was excited to see his mom and dad. I missed his mom.

I ran away from my home a ton, and she'd always take me in with open arms. Sometimes she'd make Sean take me and my Winnie to his house for the weekend. She did everything she could to get me out of that house.

I didn't get to knock because my second mom was already running out of her home with her little slippers on. "Y/N!"

She grabbed me up into a hug and spun me around. I was her baby, her daughter. She smooshed my face and said, "You grew up so well!" I smiled sheepishly and Sean rolled his eyes. "What about me?"

She walked over and gave him a quick hug, "Hi son." Minho laughed and quickly silenced himself when Mrs. Lew looked at him. "Whose this?"

Minho was still insecure about his accent but he said, "Hi, I'm Lee Know." She smiled, "Oh! The boyfriend! You're Korean no?"

He nodded and she grabbed his hand, "Let me take you inside!" I ran after her to see Mr. Lew in the living room on the couch. "Is that my baby?!" He got up surprised and gave me a bear hug.

Is this what father love supposed to feel like?

I couldn't help but smile at the feeling. I pulled away feeling like I wanted to cry. Mr. Lew's hands didn't leave my shoulders as he inspected my face. "Your face got a little fatter. You've been eating meals! You got taller too. Have you eaten today?"

I nodded, "This morning, Minho got us breakfast." He turned to the side to look for the man I named. He stumbled upon him. "Minho? Boyfriend?"

Minho blushed, "yes sir..."

For a second he didn't make eye contact. I don't mention Sean and his family often because of how traumatic this part of my life was. But, seeing them when I'm the happiest I've ever been made me realize how grateful I am for their open arms.

I grabbed a hold of Mr. Lew, "Did Mrs. Lew make food?" She was practically beaming when she pulled her homemade dishes from the fridge. "It's got a lot of proteins for your dancer body."

I skipped over excited to eat her homemade food. Don't get me wrong, sometimes Sean was cooking up, but nothing beats the love that Mrs. Lew put into it.

I grabbed a plate, still remembering where everything was and sat alone. Sean joined me, "I won't be able to drive you back tomorrow, I have a competition tomorrow morning."

Mr. Lew quickly offered, "Y/N, you know how to drive by now, take my car." I did get my license back in Korea. Maybe, I could make Minho a passenger princess for once. I said in Korean, "Minho, eat some food. We gotta wake up early to get to the city tomorrow."

He sat next to me and ate off my plate. I said, "If you want. But, New Yorkers are crazy drivers."

He laughed, "I know, but I figured you could handle it." I laughed and continued eating.

My second mom sat down at the table ready to catch up. "How'd you meet?" I was about to speak but Minho busted out, "We worked together for a little. She was terrified of me, we became close friends, and then we fell for each other shortly after."
