Long goodbyes were what took place at the airport.
I had a new hairstyle; Minho couldn't keep his hands off me. Sean and his parents were sad to see me go. My grandma and Uncle Ricky were also sad to see me go. And somehow I had to find a way to now contact my dad.
We got off the plane and I searched around for Cheol and Aisha. I felt someone hug me from behind. I turned to see Aisha. I squealed and we hugged tightly.
Chan had offered to drive us because Cheol was with Changbin and him at the studio... whatever.
All I know is, that it was nice to see Bang Chan so relaxed. Cheol said, "We have so much shit to tell you." I glanced at Bang Chan and he shook his head not wanting to explain. I was gone for three days, how bad could things have gotten?
I got in the car and curled into Minho's arms. Chan said, "How was the trip?"
"Honestly, I was nervous the majority of the time, but my brother... I think he's gotten better." Chan hummed as he drove silently.
He was trying not to talk too much because he didn't want to bring the mood down. "Anyways, Lalisa is already at the studio." I groaned, "I'm not ready... I'm scared actually." Cheol smiled, "Don't be! We got your back."
Cheol not so obviously stared down Minho. Minho quietly turned to the window and I sighed. "I just got off the plane and I'm already working."
Aisha cut in, "Y/N, what the hell happened to your face?" Chan winced and looked at the road getting quiet. I didn't know what to say, I didn't want them to worry.
Minho saw me struggling to find words so instead he said, "She got scratched in the face by this cat I was messing with." Aisha was about to call the bullshit but Cheol picked up on it, "The cats in New York are pretty hostile." I smiled at Cheol and Aisha silenced herself.
They dropped me off at the studio and I walked in. Lisa, looking as beautiful as ever stood in the mirror already getting the moves down.
I sent her some videos to practice because I would be gone. I told her it was an emergency but I'd be back to teach her the details. She understood well.
I turned on the song and watched her dance applauding her. The woman already had that shit down packed. "You ate that up!" I danced next to her showing her the details and we laughed together.
Once we finished up the first four 8 counts, we took a break. I drank my gallon of water and deep breathed.
Lisa smiled, "You're really a star, you know? You could be an idol if you wanted to." I laughed, "I can't sing." She shrugged, "Neither could I." It fell silent until I lifted myself to look at her.
"Can I be honest with you? Like zero professionalism right now." She nodded leaning in to hear. "What happened with you and Lino."
Her face got bright red as she thought of what to say. I mean what can she say? She knows we're together, the entire world does at this point.
"Oh... uhm... we were a thing a while back." I nodded, "So he told me. I know telling me would be unprofessional, but did you have an ulterior motive when you hired me?"
