AHHHHHH

My face got hot. I smiled nervously. "Heel dancing?" I nodded biting my lip.

Lee Know looked me all over. He studied my body tension and said calmly, "Alright, well I was here to practice some more." He put his stuff down and I stared off nervously.

Please, this is so embarrassing.

Lee Know said, "I didn't know you could move your body like that. Very... sexy?" My eyes widened and Lee Know continued, "No need to get nervous Y/N-ah. It's just dancing."

He stretched his arms and looked at me in the mirror still sitting on the floor. Lee Know said, "I heard there was going to be maintenance because the lights keep flickering today."

He held out his hand to help me up. He pulled me up like I weighed nothing.

"Thanks." I thanked him for pulling me up, and followed with a question about the mantinence, "Really?"

He nodded, "They should be here soon."

I nodded and we practiced for a couple hours before Lee Know asked for a break. I think he could tell I was getting tired and was too embarrassed to ask him to stop.

"You're so quiet. You make me wanna talk a lot."

I laughed, "I don't mean to be. A lot of things I wanna say are just so dumb."

He drank his water, "Dumb how? What's something you wanna talk about?"

"The social and economic state of the world right now..."

Lee Know laughed harshly. Almost a cackle while pointing in my direction.

I smiled as he said, "Funny. No but seriously, what's been on your mind all day?" I shrugged, "Nothing. I'm a static person."

He chuckled, "Static is an interesting way to describe yourself."

I shrugged and drank my water before the lights shut off.

I have the worst fear of the dark. Maybe it was because when I was younger, my punishment was to be locked in the basement in the dark alone while I screamed for help.

My dad would tell me the monsters would come and get me if I didn't behave.

So when the lights shut off I screamed and threw myself onto Lee Know as quickly as possible.

My breathing became heavy as he rubbed my arm worried. "Hey? It's okay!"

I felt tears stream from my face.

Why do the most embarrassing and vulnerable things always happen when he's around? He's a curse!

Lee Know grabbed me closer and reached for his phone to turn on the flashlight. "See, everything is okay." I could see his gentle smile.

Was he always this caring and gentle?

His hand reached for my face to wipe a tear and my eyes widened. It gave me butterflies to be touched like that. I hugged him and he rubbed my back as I closed my eyes. My heart was still pounding in my chest.
