round about 2 weeks have passes and nothing really interesting has happened, the boys are starting to walk less on eggshells around you as everyone has started to forget about Alex weirdly everyone moved on rather quickly and Minho, he has been acting like a shank lately, not in the mean was but just more teasing.
I woke up and I pulled on a pair of shorts and a short sleave T-shirt, as the weather was boiling, the last few days have been like a heat wave just getting more and more hotter, some boys have already opted to be topless, I walk out of the shared room and start to walk to the kitchen, "hey fry how are you" I say as I smile at him and grab some of the food he is serving, "and morning to you miss yn I am good, how are you on this fine morning" frypan asks me in his normal cheery mood, I laugh a little, "yeah I am good, nice to see you are a morning person" I joke as I head to a table to sit, I see Ben, Minho and newt, I walk over and sit beside newt, "morning" Ben says, "morning guys" I say back, "morning shank" Minho says smiling a little, "the box is coming up today" newt says to me, "I hope so" Ben jokes, Minho looks at him and elbow him, "Alby's new rule is no dating" Minho reminded him, "you never know" ben jokes, Newt ignore the two and looks at me, "Alby put me in charge to show the new greenie around" he announces happily, "that's cool newt, remember I could always do with a new med-jack" I subtly hint at him, "I will do my best" Newt responds laughing a little at my attempt to be subtle.
suddenly we see some people shout and run past us, "guess the newbie is here" Minho shrugs, "that's my queue" Newt says as he gets up to leave, "what's the big deal don't we get one very month?" I ask ben and Minho as I see how excited the others get, "I dunno, new faces?" Ben says, I look over as I see a scrawny kid leave the box as newt looks like he is showing him around, "dang it another boy" Ben says, Minho nudges him, "why don't you see if Gally needs help with the project?" Minho asks him, Ben sighs and gets up to leave, "project?" I ask Minho, "just a random project" Minho says as he takes a bite of his breakfast, I look over to where newt was as he spotted me looking at me and he gives me a big thumbs up, I giggle a little.
Minho notices this and looks up at me, "what's so funny?" he asks me, I look back at him and say in a joking tone, "why do you care?" I ask him, he smiles a little, "I am just curious on what your short attention span is focusing on" I look at him and smile a little knowing he was right, "anyway what are you doing today?" I ask him, "nothing really might just help the builders or something depends what Ben is doing I suppose" he says as he shrugs his shoulders, "you?" he asks me, "I think newt has the greenie interested in being a med-jack" I say as I look over and see newt approaching us, "speak of the devil" Minho says as he stands up, "that is my que" he says as Minho grabs his plate and leaves.
I stand up and smile at newt and the new greenie, "hey newt, hey greenie" I say as the approach, "hey yn this is jeff, he wants to be a med-jack too" I look at the young kid who was clearly older than chuck but still very young as he is smiling at me, I offer him a smile back, "that sounds good with me, want me to take him to the med-bay?" I ask newt, he nods and I lead jeff to the med-bay.
as I enter the med-bay I start to show him where everything is then I ask him, "there is me and someone called clint, I do more of the bloody things like stitching and stuff, where as clint does more of the caring, is there one thing you would rather do?" I ask him, "uh I don't know" he says nervously, "well I can show you what I do and clint can show you what he does and you can decide" he nods, "hey yn, want me to changed Simon's bandage?" I hear a voice shout, "yeah but want to come in for a sec" I say as clint then enter the room as he looks at jeff, the back at me confused, "this is jeff he is the greenie and he want to work with us" I explain to him, clit then nods, "you mind showing him how to clean the bandage?" I ask him, "yeah of course, want to follow me jeff?" he says a little nervously as Jeff then follows him,
I continue to clean the surgery room, I feel like I spend more time cleaning the room that I do stitching people as the blood often gets everywhere, the someone knocks on my door, I turn stop cleaning and put my cleaning supplies away, "come in" I say, I then turn around and see Minho, "you ok?" I ask him, he shakes his head, "uh take a seat" I say surprised as how there was no witty remark, "what's wrong?" I ask him, he sighs and he turns so I am facing his back.
there is see a pool of blood seeping through his shirt, "what the shuck happened?" I asked him surprised as I grabbed some supplies, "some idiot tripped while caring something sharp and it nicked me" he tells me, "judging by the amount of blood on your shirt it did more than just nick you, do you mind taking off your shirt?" I asked him as I grabbed a rag and some alcohol, "uh sure" Minho says awkward as he unbuttons his shirt then takes it off, I stand behind him with the rag covered in the alcohol, I gently put my hand on his uninjured shoulder which causes his to fling a little, "sorry this is going to hurt" I say softly, as I start to clean the would, I hear Minho wince a little, "its not that bad" he says, I laugh a little, "I can see you wincing" I joke, "am not" he says I just laugh it off as I continue, "I think you might need stitches, I will be back in a sec".
I leave the room to where clint was showing Jeff how to wrap a bandage, "Jeff can I borrow you for a second and bring that sewing kit" I say as I point to the needle and thread beside him, he nods and follows me into the room with Minho, Jeff looks a little uneasy as he sees Minho shirtless as Minho easily has double the muscles mass jeff does, I take the sewing kit from him and I reassure him, "don't worry that's Minho he wont bite, he is a real softie" I say as I try to irritate Minho a little, "don't push you luck" Minho grunts as he looks at me from the corner of his eye, "jeff stand beside me and watch how I stitch him up" I say as I gives Minho's uninjured shoulder a gentle squeeze and start to stitch, about half way through a look at Jeff who seems a little nervous and uncomfortable, "if this is too much go back to clint" I say softly to him, he nods and leaves the room.
"trying to traumatize the newbie on his first day?" Minho asks in a low joking tone as I continue to stitch him, "like you were any better" I joke back, Minho lets out a small chuckle, as I am finishing off his stitches I take a few moments to admire his muscular back, "there done" I say as I then go to get a bandage, Minho watched me curiously, "what are you doing now?" he asks me, I show him the bandage in my hand as I start to wrap it around him, as I was doing so there were a few moments I was very close to his body so much so Minho could feel my breath on him, he didn't shutter though, he just had a stupid grin on his face that he made sure I didn't see.
"ok there I am all done" I tell him, he stands up and grabs his shirt and puts it on, "in a few days I will need to check the stitching to make sure it is fine" I tell him, he nods and heads to leave, "thanks" he says and with that he left, I look outside and it was starting to get pretty dark, "jeff?" I ask as I walk into the main med-bay room, where I see cling and jeff talking, "yeah?" he says as he turns to me, "do you know where you are sleeping tonight?" I ask him, jeff thinks for a moment, "I think so" he eventually says sounding unsure, "clint you keep him right just in case" I ask clint, he smile at me, "of course" I watch as the pair of them head to the shared room, i then turn to the surgery room and but the bandage away and then head to the shared room.
once i got there i looked over to chuck who was fast asleep snoring to his hearts content, i chuckle a little before i sigh realising i will have to try and sleep through his snoring.
