"morning" I hear Minho say to me as he gently rubs my back, "ugh five more minutes" I say as I bury my face into his chest, Minho chuckles softly as he kisses my head, I sigh, "I need to get up" I tell him as I start to stand, "aww come on" Minho say as he pulls me a little, due to my tired state this caused me to gently fall on his chest as I look back up in his eyes, his beautiful brown eyes, i brush my lips against his as i gave him a small kiss, "i do really need to go" i say as i get up and head to the door, "i will see you at dinner" i tell him as i close his door and head to the med-bay slightly embarrassed from ast night as i can still feel his arms around me.
i open the door to the patient room, "hey Winston are you feeling any better?" i ask him, he looks at me and nods, "that's good to hear" i say as i walk closer to him, "mhm i think i will need to clean your stitches", i say to myself, "i can do it" i turn to see where the voice came from, "oh hey Jeff, do you want me to show you how, it is pretty simple?" i as him, he nods as he hands me some Alcohol and a rag, "thank" i say to him as i start to unbandage Winston's leg, as he winces a little, "still sore huh?" i ask Winston, "yeah" he coughs, "will he be ok?" Jeff asks me, i look back over at Winston who looks up at me hopeful, "i imagine you leg will be back to how it use to be" i say as i offer Winston a smile, he weakly smiles at me back, "ok Jeff put some alcohol on the rag and gently pat Winston's leg, be careful" i say as i watch Jeff slowly do as i said.
after a few minutes, Jeff finished up, "there done" Jeff says nervously, "well done" i tell him as he places the alcohol and rags away, "we will leave you to rest" i tell Winston, as me and Jeff leave the room, we wait around the med-bay, a few hours pass and only a few patients came in that just had minor scrapes.
in the late afternoon there was a knock on the surgery room where me and Jeff were chatting, Jeff looks up and heads to the door to open it, "hey alby" he says as Alby greets jeff, then Alby looks at me seriously, as he walks over to me, "mind if i borrow you for a second yn?" he asks me as he stops in front of me and looks at me with a monotone expression, "uh sure, Jeff want to go and check on Winston?" i ask Jeff as he nods and leaves while closing the door behind him.
i stand up for the chair i was sitting on, "everting ok Alby?" i ask him as there are butterflies in my stomach as i fear he knows that i slept in Minho's room last night, "can you come with me?" Alby asks as he heads to the door not giving me any chance to respond, i quickly follow him as he leaves the med-bay.
i catch up and walk beside him, "what is this about?" i ask more nervous than curious, "you will see" he says suspiciously as he gives me a sly smile, which only made me feel more nervous, as we turned a corner, there was a hut, "has that always been there?" i ask him, then Gally appears with two other builders, "there she is" he grunts as he walks over to us, i look at all of them confused, "no that hut is new" Alby responds to my previous question, "and it is your hut" he tell me, "my hut?" i ask him, then Gally got bored my questions, "Alby thought it was best you don't need to share a room with others even if you are just the keeper of med-jacks" he explains, "thanks guys" i say to Gally and the other two builders, "Alby's orders" as one of them grunts as they all walk off, i turn back to Alby, "thank you" i tell him, me smiles back, "no problem and well done looking after Winston" he tells me as he walks away.
i head to the homestead, and i start to pick up my belongings which only consisted of a few clothes and blankets, "where are you going?" i turn around to see Chuck beside me, "hey chuck, i am going to my new hut" chuck looks surprised, "aww cool, was that were you were last night?" he asks me, "i-uh-yeah i just forgot to take my stuff there last night" i try to lie, but to my surprised chuck believes me, "well see you tonight" he says to me as i start to leave, "yeah see you soon" i say to him, as i walk away.
as i head to my hut i hear someone jog up behind me, "hey yn" Minho says as he start to walk beside me, "want me to carry anything?" he offers, "no i am fine thanks though" i say, "do you like your hut?" he asks me, "yeah did Alby already tell you?", i ask him, "yeah" Minho replies, we walk a little further, before Minho eventually says, "uh do you want to talk about last night?" he asks me, "uh what about it?" i ask, "i mean Alby did make a rule" Minho says, "and we don't need to tell Alby or anyone for that matter" i continue, as i opened the door to my hut.
"so are we just going to forget it happened?" Minho asks me confused, i think for a moment, i mean i do like him, but what it it doesn't work, wont it just make things awkward if i see him every day, i mean i don't know how well i know him, i think to myself as all my thoughts are overwhelming me, "uh i don't know" i say as i start to put my clothes in the strange looking dresser, there was Minho's hoodie, i look at it for a second before putting it away, "do you want to forget it happened?" Minho asks me softly, as he stays a few meters away, i sigh, "i don't know Minho" i say without looking at him as i put my clothes on my bed.
"are we still good?" Minho asks me now sounding a little concerned, i look up and him as i now realised how much worry is in his face, "yeah, we are still good Minho, i just-" i say as i am lost for words, "its ok, i wont be weird on you" he says as he offers me a smile, this relieves me as i feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, "thanks Minho" i say as i smile at him, and walk over and wrap my arms around his neck as i hugged him, i feel his warm arms wrap around my waist as he held my back, just being so close to him made my heart skip a beat.
as i pull away i look up at Minho, "want to get something to eat?" i ask him, "finally" he says as he chuckles and we head to the kitchen, "hey Fypan" we both say as we grabbed some food, "hey you two" he responds, me and Minho head to a table and Minho sits beside ben, and i sit beside newt and Alby on the other side, all of us chatted a little about our day.
that night i headed to my bed and lay looking at the roof of my new hut, it was quiet, like when i was with Minho, but this silence was less comforting, i look to the side of my bed where Minho should be, and sigh as i toss and turn and eventually fall asleep.
