The biological shift in 2012 shifted not just the ecology but the Earth itself as well. The land masses started to converge after the beasts had knocked down the borders of fallen countries. By 2020, the land soon reverted to a similar shape to ancient Pangaea. At that same time, The One and Only and his followers emerged from hiding and in an 11-day-long cull, formed a perimeter that would be known today as The Equilateral.
The Three Sides are the most standout part of The Equilateral. This is due to the fact that The One, The Two, The Four and The Five consist of people, while The Three are designated locations. The Three Sides are:
Aste: The eastern Side of The Equilateral, known for its revolutionary advances in medical science.
Entswer: The western side of The Equilateral, is the most populated Side as compared to the two, and the most commercialised.
G0: The Side at the bottom or rather the base of The Equilateral. The boundary between the origins of the beasts from the Antarctic and the rest of civilisation. The Base also resides within this Side which is in turn the Side most Heights are familiar with.
Aste, initially, was on equal footing with Entswer based on living conditions and prosperity. This was largely due to its application of synthesised components of an Alpha known as the Cadclepius, which had regenerative properties, to develop the restorative ampules which could treat any physical injury and disease. However, in 2035, an uprising formed by a resistance group opposing the Equilibrium caused irreversible damage to half of Aste, forming the Slums known in the present day.
The All-Knowing of The Two mandated for Aste to remain in its current state to serve as a reminder of the transgressions now coined "The Aste Revolt".

Lorelai: My name is Lorelai, The Five of Spades, a real...pleasure.
Mariul: Hmph. The director of Branch 6 in the flesh.
Lorelai: Not anymore, I'm afraid.
Quanta: What?
Lorelai: Didn't the old man or little Nova tell you already? They are the only ones here. Now with the only Height well... gone, there is no use of this place.
Quanta: What about Marcello?
Lorelai: The Sinner is on his own now. He's served his time.
Quanta: ???
Leaving Quanta in a state of confusion, Lorelai turned to Mariul with an awry smile, hiding her obvious frustration towards both of them. She leans in towards Mariul's ears.
Lorelai: [Whispers] Nova was meant to be kept alive until the next deed. The All-Knowing is quite displeased.
Lorelai: [Whispers] It would be for the best if you heeded the order given to you yesterday and the one 4 months ago.
Mariul: Thou nary in a position of commandeering. The events transpired upon the Maiden of Snow were not under mine control.
